For those who want to know why is Hatsune Miku the most popular Vocaloid. is because of the song Melt by producer Supercell, it was so popular it was in the top 10 songs in Japan. Legit, there was a time in Japan you couldn't go a day without hearing it on the radio. It was so popular because it redefined Vocaloid in the public eye, and showed so much emotion in the voice that no one thought a virtual singer could have.
@captainredan53392 жыл бұрын
It's funny that the producer is Supercell since there is also a company called Supercell which makes games like Clash Royale and Clash Of Clans and Brawl Stars
@_toulouse2 жыл бұрын
I'm calling cap on that, dawg. It's just because she has the most distinctive design. It checks off so many things, and her voice is pleasant. There's a huge reason why Miku is probably the character who has the most anime figurines - beating even Saber and Asuka, and it's not ultimately because of the songs people make with her.

Fun fact, Miku and all the other Crypton "vocaloids" are no longer Vocaloids officially because Crypton wanted to keep their voices sounding a bit artificial where Yamaha (the creators of Vocaloid) wanted to continue developing Vocaloid into more and more realistic voice synthesis platform. However both companies still collaborate on voice synthesis R&D.
@SnowBoy1008 Жыл бұрын
Odds and Ends is one of the best songs to explain why people use Virtual Singers. It basically tells the story of how ryo, a popular producer, couldn't voice out their feelings properly through song, then they started using Miku's voice to express their feelings. It somehow makes a disembodied group of syllables to express emotions.

This is an okay explanation but it can be simplified yall. Hatsune miku is just one of many vocaloid singers. Vocaloid is just text-to-singing software with singers that are personified with usually anime avatars. Different companies around the world have their own vocaloid singer products in ome of 5 different languages (some bilingual). Vocaloid and Miku became popular cause Miku was personified as a character instead of just a product

I'd like to think that Hatsune Miku herself is the very essence of collaboration... Producers made their music with Her as their songstress.. Artists drew Her to match the song she's singing.. Animators animate her for the MV's.. NicoNicoDouga provides the platform.. Miku is what she is... a voice synthesizer, a virtual singer, a virtual diva, a collaboration... Hatsune Miku can be anything you want her to be... a shy girl, a tsundere, even a bitch for example, each producers have their own version of Hatsune Miku... Deco27's Miku is cute girl.. Nayuta's Miku is an alien girl.. and the list goes on.. when a new producer enters the scene, a new Hatsune Miku is born.. Is Hatsune Miku real? well in my eyes she's as real as it gets, producers behind her, loving fans around the world.. all of that made her real... it is up to you whether you want her to manifest or not, for some people she's real.. for others she's not well :v that's my opinion, what's yours?
