i just love some of the bits where Charlies face goes more demonic, betraying the fact that under her happy good person exterior is quite possibly a terrifying demon of immense power that she works hard to keep hidden. this of course leads me to a potential fan theory that the hotel isn't as much to help others but herself before she loses herself to the darker impulses inside. This would also make Alastors roll much more clear. he may enjoy watching a few menials struggle but his real enjoyment will be watching her fail and slowly be more corrupted by her frustrations until she finally unleashes her inner demon and becomes a force on par with his considerable powers. Having someone that could actually match him would be the ultimate way to end his boredom.

I was wondering that too. There are some frames that show she's summonning fire here and there in this song. Also, she's the one who informed the whole Hell that the annual extermination has ended *with a Firework magic or something like that* . Therefore , we can now assume that she's a Fire elementalist, that's her "main power" (for now). Alastor is a Shadow elementalist, Vaggie summons daggers and her spear out of nowhere and Angel can "spring" his arms and weapons from his belly. And as others have mentioned, she is the daughter of Lucifer and Lillith. So, I think that she can be _very_ dangerous if needed to. Heck, I am even willing to bet 0$ that she is the reason why the guy in blue was burning. (Now I want to see Charlie go into a fit of rage and burn everything nearby ÔwÔ)

In a technical way, this is probably hand drawn, which Vivienne seems to specialize in, or at least likes the most. She’s also putting quality over quantity. A lot of 2D cartoons nowadays use puppets, which are stiffer, but the animation is produced much quicker than having to redraw every single frame. (An example of this is My Little Pony, where each pony is made of like, 20 parts instead of one frame.) I imagine there would also be a problem with each artist’s stylistic differences, with redrawing every frame. And big name studio produced shows need to be produced quickly.

There’s so much hard auto tuning, which is commonly used in only to areas, when you have a singer so bad it makes you want to kill your self, and you’re trying to fix it, or when your trying make someone sound less human, the hard tuning here, seems to get harder near the end, so I think that the beginning was just to make it sound less human, and the stuff at the end is both to fast, and to high pitch, so they tuned it, cause she can’t hit those notes, than speeded it up, cause note one can sing that fast or hit those notes in that fashion, thats note how the human voices works, so it ends up making a interesting sound

Jesse Riccardi Exactly though they could tone down the colors just a bit. All the times Alastor appears he isn’t the main focus color wise. If anything he blends into the background. It’s a weird draw how it’s artistically strengthening the narrative because it’s overwhelming the eyes and taking away from other characters. I’m all for creative background characters but they need to darken the characters. Not their actual final colors but just for this scene.
