Charlie and Vaggie's relationship should definitely sail, these two are really adorable together! Vox and Valentino's relationship should swim because Val is pretty abusive, but he and Vox had at least some chemistry from what we saw in the show. Angel and Husk along with Sir Pentious and Cherri Bomb's relationship should sail because after Angel and Husk sang Loser, Baby they grew closer together and support each other. Sir Pentious and Cherri Bomb are great together even though they battled in the Pilot, however they grew closer in the final battle and if Cherri Bomb does get redeemed, maybe she'll reunite with Sir Pentious in Heaven. Plus can we see more of Carmilla and Zestial's relationship, please? Also if anyone ships Angel Dust and Valentino, then you are out of your mind!😍🤢💘💔

My working theory on Lucifer x Lilith is that they are still in love. But that the reason they are separated is due to a combination of things. Ok hear me out (TM). We have been getting a lot of mixed signals from Viv about Lilith. She has been kept under wraps and all the visual cues we get are tinted ominously. Her singing to Hell graphic is tinted heavy with flames. Her taking Charlie away from Lucifer. But I think these are misdirects. Because all of the stories we hear about her from Charlie represent her as compassionate and fighting to bring Hell together as a community. Charlie sees her as the compassionate parent that was there for her through her childhood. Lucifer was lost in his depression and had lost all faith and hope in Humanity. So recontextualize the Imagery of Lilith with this understanding. Thus Lilith singing to Hell is still her trying to rally Hell. And yeah its going to be red tinged she's in Hell. The scene with her taking Charlie needs to consider that Charlie was entranced by the story of her fathers dreams. Who do you think told her those stories. Lucifer is broken and depressed about his dreams failing as hard as they did. He is not going to bring it up. Lilith shared the dreams with Charlie. And then when Charlie got time to play with her father, which he adored, she would ask him about his dreams. And as someone that has struggled with deep depression that sort of conversation can be devastating. Lucifer would likely not be able to deny Charlie and thus he would have to crash straight into his nightmare. Thus Lilith would enter and gently take Charlie away so that Lucifer could go back to trying to pull himself out of the pit of depression. This was an act of mercy and compassion from Lilith. So Lilith had picked up the dream that Lucifer had. She had not given up on Humanity and was trying to bring the people of Hell together. Charlie even mentions that her idea of the Hotel was a continuation of her mother's fight. Lilith had been fighting for Hell all along. So what happened? So in trying to bring the people of Hell together she was met with pushback. Heaven obviously saw it as a threat. Sera afraid of the Demons finding out they have no idea how Heaven works must have terrified her. Sera definitely has severe imposter syndrome and lives in dread of everyone finding out. But the opposition by Heaven was more remote. She obviously met opposition more locally. The more predatory Overlords would see Hell coming together as a community as a threat to their accumulation of power. People unified are not as easy to prey upon. So the worst of the Overlords pushed back against her attempts. Without Lucifer supporting her endeavors she needed some muscle. This is where she tagged Alastor in. Alastor's MO of serial predation in life seems to have been somewhat Dexteresque. He preyed upon people he considered uncivil. Still evil to the core but he only ate other evil. So when Alastor's soul landed in Hell Lilith approached him and offered to boost his power substantially in exchange for his soul. She charged him with removing the problematic Overlords. That Zestial and Carmilla remain shows that Demons that show signs of empathy and compassion were not targeted by Alastor. Tension remains between them. But there is a truce. And then the Vees showed up. Oddly boosted in power similar to Alastor they quickly rose in the ranks of the Overlords. But when Alastor went to confront Vox he met his match. It must have been close because Vox is not interested in a rematch. But it was this that sent Alastor into retreat for 7 years. This left Lilith exposed. And this is when Heaven struck. They sent Adam backed by the exterminators to deal with Lilith any way he thought would work. But he had his own agenda. An ego the size of his could not stand that Lilith turned her back on him. So he told Hells power couple that unless Lilith joined him in Heaven he would turn Heaven's military loose on Hell and specifically target young Charlie. Charlie is the only thing that still meant anything to Lucifer. And Lilith is of course a loving mother. And they had no idea how to defeat the Angels at the time. So of course they gave in. The deal was struck that no Hellborn citizens would be targeted by Heaven's armies and Lilith went with Adam to be his pet in Heaven. Thus when Adam died Lute in a rage went to Lilith and told her that the deal was over and Charlie now had a target on her back. If Lilith wanted to save Charlie she would have to return to Hell and talk her down from any further action. And this is where the current lore ends. Season 2 will see Lilith return to Hell initially as a foil to Charlie. Trying to talk her out of her plans. But because they are a continuation of Lilith's original plans Charlie will be able to win her over. Charlie sucks at connecting to sinners. She just has too much of a gap in life experience. She is a sheltered princess and they are people that have fallen to the depths of Hell and are tormented in no small part by their own emotional damage. She just cannot break through. But she does provide hope and a safe place. What Charlie offers is sanctuary and the expectation that people can get better. But to maintain that Sanctuary you need to be able to defend it. Thus Charlie has to do the very thing Husk pointed out she is afraid to do. She had to deal with her own problems. And those are that she has not accepted her position or power. Thus Lilith and Lucifer together again will guide Charlie on a path of understanding her power and how she can protect those she cares for. So this is my current theory of how and why Lilith X Lucifer is still a thing. I am pretty sure it fits the current narrative being put out by Viv. Including the twist I think she has in play for what gets a person into Heaven. I think it is mental well being. Sir Pentious was dealing with crippling social anxiety. And it was his journey to overcome it and express his feelings to Cherri that clinched it for him. Well that and an act or true altruism. For me, every ship that includes Alastor is a sink to the center of the earth. First bc of the aroace erasure. And, I've already heard too much of "aroace people can still date" yes, that's totally true and valid, I say that as a demisexual and demiromantic. But please, being realistic, in the show and canon, Alastor doesn't even have a 0.1% chance of dating anyone. You just have to know his character. Yes, AUs exist. Yes, there's freedom of shipping. Yes, you can enjoy it "without harming anyone" (it's still aroace erasure). But no, there's no chance for an Alastor ship to become real in the actual show.

Alastor does not read as one of them, and I like his current representation as an aroace person who has plenty of fulfilling non-romantic relationships. That also said, AUs are a thing, so my official stance is, "I want him to canonically remain single as it best fits with his characterization, but I'm not gonna hate (most of) your ships." So happy they put Charlastor under "sink" because it's creepy. Whether or not Charlie is older, Alastor's a manipulator, and she's easy to take advantage of, plus she has Vaggie.
