I was in this vicious cycle with my ex for 7 YEARS!!! he would get mad, vanish, then come back after 1, 2, 3 months. Would always apologize then eventually do it again. This was almost a year ago. He tried to meet me outside my place to drop my things off and "talk things out". I've been thinking. I wonder if women's higher number of oxytocin receptors are why were loving (seen by men as emotional) and men's almost non-existent oxytocin receptors, Further blocked by higher testosterone levels means that they're not loving ( seen by men as logical). If u take him back u have to "forgive and forget" or its going to continue to cause issues. If you can't get over it then split up- no point going in circles of doubt fear and mistrust
