Headlight bulb change on 2012 Chevy Malibu

DO NOT REPLACE WITH SUPER BRIGHT BULBS(they burn out in less than a year). Read back of package. Use original type bulbs.😎👍

Bumpers a HUGE pain to re align and pop back in. Aside from the bumper part it wasn't that bad I just replaced mine. Just walked away for a minute to de frustrate still have to fit the bumper back on...

Friend of mine did this he went on and did all of them signals and all so would not have to worry about it anytime soon lol

If you are just doing one side you dont have to do the entire bumper dismount. Just work between the gaps after you dislocate one sid epf the bumper. Everything is 10mm

Anyone have a video of where the adjustment screws are for the headlight? It seems like the obvious next step for anyone doing whats in this video. Any help appreciated.

Yeah the dealership told me they won't do it because it's a 3-4 hour job for the headlight alone and that I should bring it to a sears auto center to do it

They said they would have to take of the tire also to get to the screws. So I was wondering how hard it really is just to change a lightbulb, looks like I know what I'm doing tomorrow morning

you do not need to take off the whole bumper

Not sure I'm even going to attempt this. OTOH, when I hired a mechanic to do it, they charged me over $300. The 2012 Malibu is a very solid car, but the headlight engineering is far beyond stupid.

2012 Chevy Malibu has the worst headlamp system iv ever seen. can't see anything going down the road .on top of rebuilding the front end to change out a bulb...! LOL I retired for GM. in 2009.after 22 years.. I see I haven't missed anything !
