Rheumatoid arthritis is a long-term, progressive, and disabling autoimmune disease. It causes inflammation, swelling, and pain in and around the joints and other body organs. Rheumatoid arthritis usually affects the hands and feet first, but it can occur in any joint. The main cause of Rheumatoid Arthritis is Stress and climate changes. Yoga can help in reducing stress and the effects of climate changes to a very large extent and also mobilize the joints and limbs and release all the tension and rigidity.

Not everyone can get down on the floor, or get up again without help. Rotating the knees isn't possible when one leg is longer than the other. But I will try what I can.

Nice and soft yoga exercises - soft and relaxing Music - and I would have liked that the voice was as relaxed and soft as the breathing rhythms and the Music - but I will try to do the exercises as well as possible - thank you for sharing

Hi, so glad to have found this video. I have rhuematoid for20 years and the last two years have been hell on earth. I will try these yoga poses just wondering if there’s an easier way to get down and up from the mat I’m unable to do at the present time. Your help would be greatfully appreciated

@Joice Omo Hello sir , I am 18 yrs old and suffering from juvenile rheumatic arthritis since I was 13 yrs . I tried a lot of treatment including allopathic, ayurvedic, homeopathic but they only worked when I was taking medicines and when I stopped them the pain reoccurred. I have too much swelling on my joints specially knees. Now I am on allopathic treatment again and I am gaining a lot of weight because of that and can't get over this even after a lot of workout. Can u suggest some permanent treatment for this situation?

@@vasudhakandregula Hey dear, I didn't tried those medicines but I would like to tell you that I am quite good now....I used to take allopathic medicines for my arthritis and started yoga and workout ....but after taking a long course I tried to stop medicines because they were affecting my digestion....so the physician adviced me to stop them and I am totally fine now...I don't take any medicines but I do yoga and workout regularly...so please take a proper course from a good rheumatologist and start practicing yoga and workout on regular basis....I am sure you will also get rid of this situation....all my best wishes for you dear🥰💜

Ji pranam. I was facing a knee pain in right leg and hand after doing 21 rounds of surya namaskar for nearly 43 days. I feel a pain in joints while climbing on ladder or elevated surface. Also face problem with my right shoulder. Reduced my weight from 92 to 88kgs. Rite now stopped all the yoga postures because of the pain. Advice pls

Sir , am doing your instructed yoga , for my knee pain . I am scared to see the doctor's cause I am sure it's arthritis ,cause my father and mother both have it. But one thing , I have started just 1 week but , pain is bit less. I have not that severe pain , but still uncomfortable to climb stairs and put pressure on knoees . Thank you for this . Namaste Deepika, it is best to avoid folding the knees if you are feeling pain or discomfort. Do other basic practices regularly to develop strength and mobility in the muscles and ligaments in and around the knee.

Sir , i have rheaumotoid arthritis from last 10 years taking ayurvedic medicine and panchkarma i was totally ok . But from last 1 year after my miscarriage it became worst my ra factor is 256. And i lost my weight around 10 kg , no medicines works on me. Totally bed ridden can't do my daily work even brushing combing bathing. I can't stand properly due to weakness and pain .Sir plz help me , m a mother of 2 year baby. Plz sir help me.

Continue taking your medications and try to do whatever you can manage. Gradually, you will see results. However, if you experience intense pain, rest and avoid exercising.

RA has different have different levels. If pain is Extreme then we suggest you do the prayanama first and look for a good yoga teacher who can understand your problems and suggest you variations. This video is generic video made for RA with different levels.
