I just found out I'm 9 weeks pregnant after 8 years. I adore babies and have always treated my friends' kids as my own. The thought of having my own baby fills me with immense joy. Before returning from a recent trip to my home country, my friends told me during our farewell dinner that I'd make a great mom and thanked me for always being there for them. I’m truly excited to become a mom to this little one growing inside me and can't wait to share the news with everyone and embark on this journey with my own baby. #sharethecare

The Phillips bottles were such a lifesaver when I went back to my full time job as a nurse after having my son. They were the only bottle he would take after trying many! I didn’t know a single thing and was completely unprepared. Luckily I have a friend who’s a public health nurse that came and helped me get everything started. I love the meal ideas you have for Oakley! Its the hard truth that sometimes we feed the kiddos the best iron infused foods but can neglect our own iron needs- happened to me! Now with my 3rd, I am trying to exclusively breast feed but top up with a bottle if needed. I feel like that mom anxiety never fades "is that a hungry cry?" Hoping I can nurse for longer than 6 months which is my usual stride. But if not, it'll be helpful to have dad take over. #Sharethecare

Currently 7 1/2 weeks into EBF our third boy and rainbow baby! Due to a long NICU stay, and low supply, I couldn't nurse our first. Our second baby had several complex heart defects and had open heart surgery at 6 days old. Due to that, he wasn't allowed to eat any of the milk I pumped for him. He went to heaven at a month and 2 days old. His first birthday would be tomorrow. Nursing this third baby is a dream come true for me, sleepless nights and all. Breastfeeding has been the most challenging yet rewarding journey. My daughter is 10 months old, and I've been breastfeeding since day 1, along with pumping and bottle feeds when mama can't be around. My daughter will be 1 in a few short months, and it saddens me to think of the day I will no longer be nursing. It brings me so much joy to share this bond with her, and I feel extremely blessed to be able to do so as I know it can be challenging and sometimes not possible for some mothers. I send my strength to those on the journey - it does get easier ❤ I've never had a pump of my own and have been using my bestfriends for the last 10 months, but she is due with her second in 5 weeks which means I'll have to return hers and be left without one. It would be extremely helpful to have one to call my own! #sharethecare

My second baby is currently 6 weeks old son and we also have a 3 year old daughter! I am currently exclusively pumping and my son does a little better feeding with bottles than he was breastfeeding he would fall asleep often before he was actually done which would lead to some fussiness. I also will be going back to work full time in a couple months so I want to make sure I have a good supply for that. When I returned to work after having my daughter my supply completely tanked because of work stress and we instantly went through my freezer stash and couldn’t keep up with the amount that she was wanting to drink. Trying to prevent that from happening this time! Almost 45 bags saved up so far! #sharethecare

I went back to university when baby was 4 months (he is now 7 months), I have the loudest pumping machine whenever I did pump in the restroom's cubicle (sadly, there is no designated pumping area in the uni - took this up to the management) but i cared less. Did this during my break time, 3 times a day. I brought home the pumped milk and is given thru bottle the following day by my husband who takes care of baby while I am away. Happy to share that my baby is exclusively getting breastmilk. Would be great to have a quietter breastpump to do all of these again during the fall term. #ShareTheCare

I breastfed my first but had our breatfeeding journey cut short at just 2-3 months because of a nipple aversion (I had no idea about varying bottle flows and how babies can develop a preference due to the ease of flow) which I took really personally at the time. Currently, I'm at the same stage with my second (i.e., 2-3 months) and learned a lot of lessons. However, I'm still learning because my second is the opposite extreme, and I'm working hard to get her to take a bottle now. She just started slowly taking one Avent bottle a day, so I'm looking forward to my first outing as a mom of two as well. #ShareTheCare

I'm a first-time mom and my baby boy just turned 9 months old, he is exclusively breastfed and i haven't had much luck giving him a bottle. He's starting daycare next months and I'm nervous about his milk intake during the day, im going to try pumping andhopeuhe will drink it in his straw cup! Sadly my pump broke and the replacement one i have isnt doing a great job, so a new one would be amazing! #sharethecare PS: i have your baby cookbook and thats someof the only recipes my son actually enjoys, the bolognese is a hit!

I pump, but i only get enough for about two bottles a day for my baby, so we combo feed with formula. I wish I could supply him more. But I know my baby is happy and that’s what matters ❤#sharethecare

Girl, I feel you. The more sleep I get, the more tired I feel 😮💨 my body is so used to 4-5 hours every day 😆

#sharethecare FTM here , baby will be 6 months next week .. have been exclusively breastfeeding but we are now about 2 weeks into a shaky start with solids 😅 but we’re getting there 🙏🏼 was trying at 3-4 months to get baby onto bottle so that we could combo feed but little man said “ain’t no way that’s happening” 😂 so here we are , learning the new ropes of balancing breastfeeding with solids - next aim is looking into weaning him into bottle feeding so this video couldn’t have come at a more perfect time 😭 will defs purchase that Phillips natural bottle and give it a go *fingers crossed* it works for us 🙏🏼🤞🏼

If u are low in iron don't mix smoothie with milk because calcium not absorbing iron and still u will be deficient I have the same problem .for example if iron supplements u take morning so the same time don't drink coffee or tea won't be absorbed as well.smoothie is good on water kefir or yogurt as probiotics iron will be absorbed easily in the gut.
