Try this Healthy and delicious Fruit Crumble! It’s a yummy combo of juicy fruits and crispy whole wheat + oat crumble. This vegan dessert is free from refined flour, refined sugar and makes for a delightful treat to indulge.
INGREDIENTS
*3/4 cup whole wheat flour
*1/4 cup oats (quick/ rolled)
*2 tbsp maple syrup/ agave/ honey
*1/4 tsp cinnamon powder
*3 tbsp coconut oil, softened
*1 cup strawberries, chopped
*1 cup plum, chopped
*1/2 tbsp lemon juice
*1 tbsp whole wheat flour for the filling
INSTRUCTIONS
1- For the crumble, add whole wheat flour, oats, cinnamon powder, maple syrup and coconut oil in a bowl. Using a spoon give a good mix till everything is well combined.
2- For the fruit filling, add plum, strawberries, lemon juice and 1 tbsp whole wheat flour in another bowl. Mix to combine.
3- Take four small oven safe bowls and fill them half with the fruit filling. Top them with the crumble mixture generously. Bake them in a preheated oven at 180°C/ 350°F for 30 minutes or till the crumble turns crisp and golden.
4- Allow to cool for 5-10 minutes. Top it up with some more fruits and enjoy!
