When you declare war on a country, there is a box you can tick that calls in every one of your allies to begin with. The AI seems more inclined to accept this form of invitations than anything afterwards from what I've seen, and it's easier than waiting until after the war has been declared, because you may lose a day or two of surprise.

Even though the new update changes the supply situation that will literally destroy some of the offensives shown here, for example taking Ma, the supply is so bad that your allies cannot push them but you can still work around this by taking Sinkiang first and just use sheer size of the frontline to win. This video is still relevant for the new tannu tuva achievement and WC due to the way the soviet ai behaves.

The Between The Seas Concept: As Poland stay non-aligned, form the międzymorze faction, with this faction connect 3 different seas by land and prevent anyone from taking your territory. Basically do what the non-historical AI always tries to do but fails. I managed to do this non-historical and non-ironman last patch and it was great fun.
