Apparently, the sugar and meat products were poison to my system. I have a hundred pounds to lose. I have been watching the plant=based videos on a daily basis to keep me on track. Thanks for all the valuable information

I am on board with reclaiming my health!! I say this as I stand here stuffing my steamed kale for breakfast in my mouth, crying. I don't know why it took so long . I have about 80 lb to lose and sometimes I feel like it's impossible since I've been struggling for so many years and I've even been vegan for 4 years but not whole food plant-based and no oil. I started eating that way recently but it hasn't been long enough to see much results. I look forward to sticking to it and seeing where it can take me.

Marvelous! Heather’s testimony is beautiful. I’m so glad she’s part of our vegan tribe. Well done, young lady! I see the opportunity for writing a book, Heather. You have figured out how to address and conquer the health killers of the Western world. You have fought-triumphantly-to overcome a food addiction, and you have sought healing that takes into consideration physical/mental/spiritual health, the care and integrity of animals, and the needs of the planet. Your message has the capacity to be very far reaching. You have an entire vegan family supporting you.

I saw she had a new video in January. I was sad to see she gained back a lot of weight, which she said was due to doing a lot of extended fasts that caused her to binge on vegan junk food a lot ☹️ It made me think of what Chef AJ says about addiction never really going away so it’s really important to be mindful of that and staying prepared with the right food and keeping your environment clean. That said, I am proud of her for re-committing, getting back on track, and eating SOFAS-free food again. Let’s root for Heather! 🙌🏽

Two weeks ago I did a conventional carrot cake with frosting with a LOT of sugar and oil in the recipe. It was a lot even vor a conventional cake. I remember 300g of sugar. And it didnt turned out good, rubbery and dense and way too moist. It wasnt good in taste, in fact the taste sickened me. BUT I came back every 5 minutes just for another thin slice. The cake tasted terrible and still I couldnt think of anything else. I was shocked, what is happening to me?! It was the first time that I really felt like an addict with food.... i felt addicted before, but it always tasted good, but this time with the overload of sugar and oil it tasted bad and I still wanted it.... I knew that fresh carrot juice is healthy because of the gerson therapy. And I was happy to find chef aj to hear that you can loose weight eating potatos. I am drinking 2 liters of fresh carrot juice daily from a slow juicer, eating a big portion of potatos with salad and oatmeal and fruits. I cut bread, pasta, oil, butter completely, not salt. I dont know if I have lost weight, but I dont have this addiction feeling anymore for now. Horrible disgusting feeling. Lets see if it s gonna stay this way.
