I have alot more lbs to go, but I'm just looking forward and am having fun with creating flavorful recipes. I have noticed that eating plants in AM have started helping me lose more. Hey chef AJ, it's fun to watch you, but when you're talking about what you eat everyday and how you prepare what food, you talk entirely way too fast you're on speed hi. Yeah it's like you're speeding along on drugs talking a million miles an hour oh my God take a breath slow down how can anybody understand or better yet I don't even want to listen I'll just tune you out and go somewhere else. I don't know why but today Im crying. Crying because you said You realised you had to eat the same way you did to lose.. I use to be fat.. Lost it by getting rid of white stuff. ( sugar flour ect) and 1 year ago we got precancerous polyp news for my hubby. TERRIFIED ME. So we found forks over night and you and WFPB way of eating. But i am struggling to lose the last 10 lbs. or more. I don't know WHAT I should TRULY weigh. But what you said about eating the same way to maintain as you did to lose.. Not eating fruit as a snack because ...well I can eat lots of bananas and rasins too.. so I'm right there with you.. but I GET IT NOW... I'M SO HAPPY TO ACTUALLY get it.. Thank you for being you. honest, real, quirky, and blunt. All of which I get and appreciate...

watching older videos, to help an instructor & counselor out with a workshop , about health & wellness & weigh loss. was my first time watching this one. while eating my huge bowl of sweet spuds , broccoli & brussels sprouts. I haven't used artifical sweeteners for many yrs., but, i did taste a stevia leaf once, in the early 2000;s, yes, it was very sweet.. I finally gave up alcohol, at age 66, even tho for many yrs i had only 1 drink at night, mixed with OJ, i am lucky i wasn't addicted to sodas. sorry to comment so much, well, i guess i did watch this b4, my memory has been injured by breathing in chemicals. take care I been batch cooking all day, back & forth, in & out to the screen room, did some spinning out there while hubby sat in there, after work. 🥔🥦🍠💪👍

I saw your interview about IBS. I also have IBS and have been following Heather Van Vorous. She has helped me tremendously. @ArtyAntics
@ArtyAntics 3 жыл бұрын
I used to have chronic IBS I found that it was because I wasn’t able to break down fats well so the extra fibre and cutting out oil actually cleared mine up. Beans I had to introduce slowly, I only eat whole grains not white rice. If you struggle with rice you could try quinoa, it’s much lighter on the stomach. Reducing anxiety/stress was also a big factor for me. I really hope you find something that works for you.

Yes, Charles is very handsome and you are beautiful, Chef AJ!! I've been eating the same way since May 16, 2021 (date of this comment: June 27, 2021) and have NOT starved myself at all and have lost 23 pounds already! I just cannot slow down the weight loss even if I try. So happy!!

You said you had a baby that died and were on the psych drugs in 2017. Sorry for your lose. So are you saying you had a baby in your 50’s or was this an older child that you are referring to as your baby or were you on this medication for a long time?

What about dishes that call for coconut milk. Particularly curry or butter (not animal) sauces made with coconut milk in the can.

Chef AJ I ate starch based/SOS free/vegan -no processed food at all for decades but rarely went number 2 . I cut out all cooked starches (all potatoes and whole grains) went raw vegan and bowels work so much better...BUT No satiety 🙆🏻‍♀️. sure I feel stuffed eating raw vegan but not satiated unless I live on bananas. How can we eat cooked starches without them sticking to our insides and slowing our elimination down. Maybe some cooked starches are better than others for ppl with weaker bowel peristalsis?

BY still rating copious raw and cooked vegetables. I eat a minimum of THREE pounds of Veggies per day not even counting my huge raw salads. Having raw carrots, raw beets and raw cabbage int he salads really helps. No starch, no satiety. If you didn't poop on starches then you need to go to TrueNorth and fix your gut. It's not the food. Starched like winter squashes and sweet potatoes are NOT constipating, quite the opposite.

CHEF AJ thank you! I bet it’s those raw veggies you mentioned with the potatoes. I’ll make a salad with them & see 👌🏼

What was the name of that vinegar she put on her salad? I paused and rewound to look at the bottle to see it and still can’t find it searching in Google.

Great video, wonderful content! Chef AJ was making such a good point about COMMUNITY and how important that is, but you cut her off (fade out) before she finished speaking! She had something really valuable to say and should not have been cut off in the middle of it. Really a shame.
