Heidenau K60 Scout Introduction for Large Adventure Motorcycles in Sizes 170 Rear and 120 Front

I have the BMW 2016 R1200GSA LC Stock frame, fenders and the like. I currently have the Heidenau 150/70-17 69T on the Rear and the Heidenau 120/70-19 60T on the front. My dealer recommended them and I went with them. I love them, excellent mileage and performance. From your video it would be an assumption on my part to get a larger back tire and go with the Heidenau 170/60-17 72T since I'll be doing a long trip with loaded gear on and off road. Has anyone had any issues with going with this size Tire on this bike such as speedometer differences or rubbing on frame, etc?

Go with the recommended tire size for your wheel. That is the best choice.

The KLR wheels are designed for 90/90-21M/C 54S front, 130/80-17M/C 65S rear, don't mess with it.

Yeah somebody knows things about tires. A stiffer sidewall get you more mileage. Wrong. Stop watching right there
