WOW! What a beauty! This aircraft has a special place in my heart. I am 76 years old, and have had a lifelong affair with aviation (26 years in the USAF, private pilot). My very first model airplane back in the 1950's, was an Aurora F6F Hellcat! It is such a pleasure to see this beautiful model fly! Thanks for sharing this moment with others!

You have got to go to a museum and see the real deal. They are amazing. I saw one at the Moody Gardens Air Museum in Galveston. I think it's a great learning experience and I hope you get to see one someday.

@Jim Goose my excuse for that is my eyesight would not pass a aviation medical. But I fly RC aircraft. Largest has a five foot wingspan. Which is difficult to transport about. A trailer is one option. My other is buy an old Transit. Pondering both at the moment. Here in the uk we have from memory a 7 .5kg weight limit. That Hellcat is a great model flown well.
