Wow. I am a c-ptsd sufferer that has just realized that my problem has a name and solutions. I truly appreciate the fact that you took the time to produce these videos and offer them without demand for compensation. As that is right around my budget for medical expenses, I’ve already watched several of your videos and the information offered will have a profound effect on my ability to finally practice love of my fellows without the danger and fear of my brain dysregulation and flipping on that buzzsaw without my consent. Thank you!

This is exactly why I could never do this work. I am dealing with CPTSD myself and someone suggested for me to use my experience to help others with same...and I shrug with the thought. Never would I want to constantly relive my old trauma while sympathising with other peoples trauma. I might write a book about my own...but I rather not want to put it out there even to affect or trigger others going through that same or similar experience, I would not wish that on my worst enemy even. We are often mistaken for having the experience as leverage to help others which is insane. I pay my therapist for therapy but I also am aware of the triggers and how to deal with them on my own. Art therapy is good. And stepping out of the comfort zone.

Thank you Pastor Tim. This is a very important subject. Cortisol, adrenaline and all the HPA axis impacts are diabilitating to our organs, pituitary gland and adrenal glands. It can leave you not being able to live a normal life going forward. Kindly take this series forward. It applies both to trauma and addiction victims. Codependency is on both sides, both participants go through the impacts of this.

You are describing me perfectly. But I'm not a professional therapist. I have childhood trauma and was married to someone else also with childhood trauma. The way you describe the change in the relationship between therapist and client seems identical. I scored very high on the quiz, too. Your insight and explanations are so on target. Thank you.

He allowed you to be born because your efforts help the people around you. No matter how small. No matter if they sometimes hurt others. Your actions in the world, purify the world through His work. Stay alive and slow down the questioning of your mind. Accept that you are here and in the form you have taken.
