First of all, congratulations. Hooah! I have a daughter who plays brass, so I feel a personal connection to stories like this. Bravo!

A few decades ago, we were writing sci Fi with fortuitous girls as heroines and it's come true. Congratulations to you, Drum Major, and all the womenin our Army.😊❤

The Military Experience is unique in many ways. If I was President of this Country, I would require every person to serve their country by reporting for Boot Camp at which service they choose. Two years of active duty would set many wayward souls down a better path. I will never forget my Coast Guard experiences and how they made me a better man. SEMPER PARATUS..... ALWAYS READY......

I admire her as I do Flight Sergeant Jeanette Scott (RAF), Drum Major of the Central Band of the Royal Air Force. Look them/her up.

Very smart. One of the Royal Air Force Bands, Central or Regiment can’t remember which, has had an outstanding woman DM for a few years now. My admiration for US armed forces would be even greater if they would salute properly.

Hello, I know you!! I believe you're referring to the wonderful Flight Sergeant Jeanette Scott. First female to lead a Band onto the forecourt of Buckingham Palace! I agree about the saluting, as an American there's a few things we ought to fix drill wise!

It serves a dual purpose 1. Morale: certain soldiers find displays of pomp to be motivating. 2. Recruitment: people like to see synchronization and uniformity in a military, often so much so that they want to join up and go fight those wars.

Yeah... I just hate it when motivated young people from different walks of life answer the call of duty... it pisses me off even more when they achieve their goals through hard work and then recieve due credit for it... oh wait.

Why are men not allowed to have long hair and make up in the army ? I think this is sexist and discriminating !

We went from 2 mom trans bender commercials to this. Guess what works...
@ShenandoahShelty8 ай бұрын
I just don't see all the hoopla over a female becoming an Army drum major. This just looks like somebody in public affairs said we ought to make a video about this.... But I agree that even though this isn't a recruiting commercial, it does a much better job than that 2 mom monstrosity. I oft wondered how many women with two moms it attracted into the army, given the government probably spent millions on its production. and airing.
