For some reason, I like these a lot (although I'd rather get the RLX.) I think as you get older, there's something to be said for _STEALTH_ as well as reliability. I mean, literally nobody will notice you when you're driving a grey Acura, yet you will still be traveling inside of a *very* comfortable vehicle, with some power (V6) and total reliability.

I own a 2015 Acura T. L.X. six cylinder sedan and so far I am satisfied...The car is fast, smooth, stable and has decent trunk space...It is by far the most modren space age car that I have ever owned....The safety features are impressive as well...My last Acura was a 2001 Acura C.L. coupe with a six banger under the hood... If by some miracle I find a good one it will be real hard to resist.....They have a great reputation !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I LOVE THAT TLX! I HAD A TL AND LOVED IT, BIG Acura Fan here! I had my most Favorite is the V6 2010 Acura TSX , 280 Hp in a TSX Body, WOW it was a Bimmer Crusher. 0-60 5.6 i had on a track. Only down fall it had a 5 Speed auto and no Six speed Manual. It did have the Paddle shifters in sport mode. I also YeS I also going across the country ended up getting 36 mpg on the V6 TSX 2010, How Did I do that ? I put it in Sport mode so it opened up the intake then set it in is top gear and whala! Loved it Miss it Traded in for an RDX ( Had Kids).

Just test drove this car today, Acura TLX SH AWD Elite and it is frigging AWESOME!!! I'm thinking about getting the Acura TLX SH AWD but I don't know the difference with the Elite. Also, it is $45,000 (not Elite) and the Lexus IS 300 is $48,000 (rounded up both prices). So $3,000 dollars more for the Lexus IS 300. Which one should I get? Help. Note, prices are in Canadian dollars.

The interior looks too much like my mom's 2009 Lexus ES 350 mixed with my Accord Ex-L's interior. Acura needs to refresh that interior and add the Lanewatch camera. That is such a cool feature that my Accord has that Acura should use as well.

Problem with Acura is it doesn't do enough to set itself apart from Honda, especially this TLX vs Accord Touring. It definitely doesn't set itself apart from Lexus and Infiniti. This can really be seen in the interior. Tech wise it's falling behind too but it still has it's AWD going for it. Don't get me wrong, it's a great car but it's more of a premium brand than luxury now. Many buyers would probably be just as happy with the Accord Touring and save themselves the $7000+ vs this. Then again, people love names. Why else would they buy an A3/Jetta.

Honda should just drop Acura already. It's below Lexus, Infiniti, and Genesis. It's barley second tier Asian luxury at this point. I know they introduced a new design language at Detroit. But unless they invest alot of Honda resources and of course money. Then why bother at this point. Genesis even though a brand new luxury brand is so much more organized and well invested both financially and with top tier talent from Lambo, BMW, Audi, and Bentley. All are former presidents, design heads, and chief engineers, They are going to cannibalize alot of the sales in terms of the Asian luxury players in time. Hell the former BMW M chief engineer is working on N performance versions before the regular versions come out as we speak. Not to mention that Lotus now tunes all of their cars as well. Both Hyundai Brand & Genesis Brand alike.

+vader11111 and you need it rwd cause? your going drifting in it? your track driving it? drag racing? why exactly is it that a luxury vehicle needs rwd so badly. fwd is a much better platform for a normal non-sports car and you have the option of a 4wd so it does what it should do. and 377hp from a 6cyl isn't enough you need the 2extra cyl for? why not condemn them all for not being 10 or 12cyl cause we all need lots and lots of cylinders just cause cylinders.

Nice Dave, but c'mon, Kia, Acura, Honda, Hyundai - it's always the same old makes. You're American! How about reviewing some American cars? The reason Americans keep buying that import crap is because auto journalists are always reviewing them - you guys have such fantastic cars we don't get here in South Africa - hellcats, camaro, cadillac, ford taurus/explorer to name a few - we only just got the Mustang here in RHD and who knows, I might even buy one just because its American - but American auto journalists need to be a little more patriotic to their own brands than to was lyrical about the Korean/Japanese imports - imports here are everywhere and they're boring - ever new model is like a new loaf of bread, same old ingredients with a few new "old" ingredients added to copy the others. American cars are very good (I had a CTS for the brief period GM imported them here in RHD and loved that car!). Now I drive a Jaguar XF because the Cadillacs aren't really supported in aftersales service anymore and its dangerous to own one now in a shortage of parts situation. Having said all that, I love your videos, love your show and even though you're reviewing mostly cars I don't like, I still watch them because you're pretty thorough. It would be nice for your to review the switch gear though, like the feel of the door handles (flimsy or solid?), the tactile feel of the buttons on the steering wheel, sound system, air-con controls (plasticy, soft or positive in action when depressed) - basically, to convey the feeling of the car that we as viewers can't feel - we can see what you see, but we can't feel and smell what you do - so it would be nice for you to convey this through your videos. Keep up the good work and start working on getting those American brands to hand over some cars to do themselves proud ;)

+Hilton Camons I just secured a partnership with another local dealership to showcase more variety... they won't be "REVIEWS" but they will be good :-)
@herczeus93418 жыл бұрын
+Hilton Camons So only GM and Ford from now on? Because Chrysler isn't American owned company anymore. Hasn't been for years. It's a Italian owned now. Before that it was German owned. And Jaguar (Which you drive) and Land Rover are owned by a company from India. And Volvo is owned by the Chinese now. P.S. Imports are not crap. Imports like Hyundai/Kia/Genesis and Honda/Acura are well below GM and Ford in terms of recalls. And they are far more reliable than GM & Ford. The research and data supports this. And the Taurus and Explorer are from from fantastic. And I think anyone would agree with me on that one. Fleets and government services like the Police mostly drive the Taurus because they practically give them away in North America.

Hilton Camons I know who it's owned by. I follow the auto field religiously. Have so for decades. But since you slam the Korean cars maybe you should know that they are designed by Germans (Former head of Audi design, Former head of Bentley design) engineered by Germans (Former head engineer of BMW M division), and track proven in Germany by Lotus Cars. The Genesis brand is run by the former president of Lambo. And they support and employ Americans. They have 2 factories in the USA. While your beloved Jaguar and Land Rover have none in the States. P.S. You still put money in India's pocket by the way. While the Koreans have put more money in America's pocket than India ever will. Now and in the future.
