MM Bongo is hard to beat, I doubt it, PRS guitars are unmatched, but for basses,they’ve got nothing interesting happening at all

It's clearly happening. The fully custom guitar that Paul had made for him almost instantly became his new main despite getting fully custom stuff from others like B.C. Rich. He also mentioned a "Next version" on a twitch stream when talking about how he broke the neck despite the joint still being in tact

Rich, his new main is clearly the PRS. In a clip from one of his Twitch streams, where he talked about the show where he broke the heel of the guitar, he mentioned a "Next Version"
