We'll also discuss his approach to game design and how he builds a team!

After watching this video, it would be really cool to see the Hermits play a D&D game in Minecraft. Probably wouldn't need to do a campaign by anymeans, but a one-shot could be fun!

I really like this kind of format. Hermitcraft is amazing and all, but after watching it for several years some episodes kind of blends together. This kind of stuff breaks it up, makes for a nice change inbetween :)

I agree, except that it's a bit long. I prefer episodes that are about 20-40 minues. An hour or more is a real attention span and spare time tester. I wind up having to completely skip many of the hour-plus episodes just because I could never find time in my day to watch everything, so I put them off for last, watch all the shorter ones first (since that way I can at least watch *most* of the videos/creators), and then often just run out of time and the cycle begins again.

I really love these episodes where there's a special guest on. It's so nice to hear from other creatives I might not have heard about otherwise, and it sounds really neat!

Joe, your inventory seriously needs BUNDLES! You have access to them. Make some! Ask Cub, if you don't know how -- he has some and he's loving them. I'm sure you will love them, too. You could seriously clear up that inventory and carry all that stuff in probably 20% or less of the space, and be able to carry so much more!

Can i just say i never watched you before, but seeing you interact with XB while watching him get blown up with 74 tnt was such southern hospitality and empathy i loved! (Just you stripping off your armor and items and giving it to him was so just silently lovely, gave me the vibes of someone you want in your corner on a bad day and good day) I decided to watch your contant and try it on and I am excited to see how you progress in hermitcraft!

couple thoughts... one, Joe, your interview skills and questions are top-notch. I'm not a TTRPG player, but that was a facinating and interesting look at that particular gaming genre. two, I appreciate that your third person shots in a muppet skin are from the waist up and with appropriate speaking gyrations. well done :)

Just thought of an idea, an idea only Joe's humor could carry. Sky block but in hermitcraft. Build the traditional sky block starter bit about 30 blocks up. Play like it's survival mode skyblock. It would be a hilarious bit.

I love Welcome to Night Vale (I even got my name in a few episodes because of donations in the first year or so). I also hate having nothing to do when 1 or 2 people can't make it to game night for my Pathfinder campaigns. I feel like this could be a fun activity we can do if we can't play because we don't want someone to miss a session.
