I love how once they saw that you lost your Redstone box, all of the others instantly said they would help get you a new one. This really shows how kind and friendly the hermits really are. That even when they are fighting you still are watching out for the other hermits.

With all the deepslate diamond ore you have, I think you could've built a 3x3 pillar in your perimeter from bedrock to sky limit. And when they exclaim victory, pull a phoenix wright and yell "OBJECTION", then show your more massive, taller pillar

I find that regular prismarine and prismarine bricks work well with sandstone and would slide nicely into your palette. Still similar colors but different textures and shapes.

Naturally what you want when expanding a color pallet, is a contrast color, so either a lighter block or a darker block. Your color pallet contains many lighter blocks so I suggest you try a darker color, such as dark oak, black stone/deepslate, or darker greens like cactus green concrete powder scattered around other darker greens. Hope this helps doctah!

If the contrast is too strong, it can cause visual discomfort. Just using a medium tone would already create contrast.

It’s pretty cool to see the stairs have horizontal stripes from the bottom and vertical stripes from the top! I think you’re right, having stairs and floors have a different color would be some nice contrast

If Mojang really wants amethyst farming to be confined to geodes, I think a reasonable compromise would be to allow players to move budding amethysts, whether by pistons, slik touch or both, but have the crystal growth only occur if the budding amethyst is within the bounding box of a geode. That way we could rearrange the blocks for better farm designs, without getting too overpowered, as the number you could farm in one place would be restricted by geode bounding box size. This would also enable player to use budding amethysts as decorative blocks, as a nice bonus.

Excellent compromise. It's really puzzling how Mojang has kinda a split personality regarding farms. Some have been made so trivial you can make them in the first few hours of starting a game, like an iron farm, and others are made needlessly annoying. And it's not like that shards get you some really overpowered item so it'll make somewhat sense to restrict its access, it's just decorative blocks, tinted glass and the spyglass. And ironically farms that DO give you powerful items are easy to make compared to shard farm like wither skull farm and to cheese the wither afterwards for beacons.

@@Yrouel86 Meh, mojang probably don't think their new features in terms of farm. It's the players that find ways to exploit the mechanics to farm them. I agree that it would be nice to be able to move the buds around but I disagree that mojang have to think on ways for the players to exploit the features. there is a tons of block that can't be automatically farm at all and it's fine. It just give the player more reason to go into the world and explore. You can play in creative mod to have unlimited access to all blocks. If you play survival then you are limited to what is accessible and it's up to you to find clever ways to gather the stuff you need. It's not up to mojang to trivialize it for you.

The thing that I like about the hermits is they always have different POV and all of them are always interesting. Doc POV about the diamond pillars has some kind of the cool and scary vibes (with his cam account recording) and then Scar POV is just him hawkeying everyone, bunch of chaos and shenanigans.

I can't use the world download (i play pocket edition) but i think the stairs and floors would look good with spruce, which has already been used on the statues; a darker color for the floor always looks nice without drawing too much attention.

Also forgot to add, loved the 'finale' to the diamond pillar. Love the impromptu of it all. I played on a server years ago where stuff like this could (and did) happen. We'd 'fight' and kill each other one minute, then be laughing about this or that of whatever it was we just did, and go about doing whatever it was we were doing like nothing happened. I wish we'd have thought to record it. Not to put on KZbin, but just to go back and watch all the crazy silliness.

I started watching grian only, next season I was watching mumbo and grian, then grian and impulse, now tango, impulse, gem, grian, ren, mumbo and doc, always love when they post their next hermitcraft video

I think adding an entire additional color to the palette of the Hall of Goat would be a good way to go. I nominate purple! If I recall correctly it's your favorite? And the flowering azaleas already have purple and you've got all that amethyst available. And purple and teal really "pop" next to each other.
