I’m from Belgium and recently discovered this channel and this beautiful couple. I’ve been binchwatching them ever since. I love what they do! I’m just wandering why the bathrooms are never shown...in Europe kitchen and bathroom are considered as the most expensive and amazing rooms of the house 😊

@@monis9198 people are going for the open plan concept these days. I am not a fan of a kitchen seeing into the lounge and most old homes in my country also have hallways and enclosed kitchens. I've noticed though that new developments are open plan. I always think 20 years from now designers will say "why were they building like this🤭"?

In Germany folge ich auf SIXX Fixer Upper und muss zugeben, dass Joanna & Chip haben fantastische Idee Haus Umbau & Einrichtung. Einzige was mir nicht gefällt ist, der Abrisstag, hier zeigt sich die amerikanische Einstellung zu Ressourcen Vernichtung, Wegwerf-Gesellschaft. In Germany hätte man vor Abrisstag noch eine Wohnung Auflösung- Aktion gemacht, wo andere Leute können noch Gegenstände kaufen, die noch gut sind.

The decoration and furnishings are nice. However, as a qualified Interior Designer, I don't see the best use of space! I would have put the kitchen where the diner is and had the dining area in with the living room. Where there is ample room for it, kitchens should never be in living areas in my opinion...cooking smells in the soft furnishings is not nice!

I love this show and I am saying this for the first time: I don’t like it. You are sitting on the couch and looking ... at the massive kitchen island ... instead at the fireplace or outside. And the space for the living room is far too small. I would also swap the dining room and living room

I'm not a fan of the open plan style but this was a job well done. I've seen very bad open plan concepts on this show and other design shows. I also find it weird that people want to be seen while they are cooking or baking ☹️

This is a weird house. You walk in, and the first room you come to is the dining room? Not only that, but you have to go through the living room to move between the kitchen and the dining room. I would hate living in that house, but if it makes the couple happy, more power to them, I guess. 😕
