I am going in 8th grade and here where i live you don't go in the same high school with the same people you went to kindergarten or middle school, the 8th year is the last year of being together with those friends, and you choose in which high school you wanna go by knowing what job you wanna do one day bc you learn in high school about that job. River Violet 7th grade in my opinion is better than 6th grade but with math it’s harder. i’m going into 8th this year. The “popular people” kinda die out i guess and popularity isn’t such a big thing in 7th as it was in 6th. Enjoy 7th grade while you can it’ll be over before you know it :) Good luck!

I just finished my freshman year, and honestly I faced some pretty tough things just because I was “fresh meat”. My school has a pep assembly, but it’s based around making fun of the new freshmen. Every grade has a little unique cheer that they were taught pre-assembly, but nobody tells the freshman. As they go around the gym and each grade does their cheer, they get to the freshmen and nobody knows it and we become the total joke of the school. The entire assembly is just things like that, and we’re constantly being laughed at. The teachers, principal, and upper class men are all in on it. It’s disgusting. That being said, you honestly shouldn’t worry because the reality is you’re not alone. Whether you’re in a large or small school, there’s others going through the same thing. Yes, we faced jokes on the daily, but most rude people are those who were insecure freshmen themselves.

I am in a school where the elementary is one wing and the older half of elementary in in amother wing and junior high and high school is in a wing together. It is a really small school. But I am in junior high and it is just like high school. I am going into eighth grade this year and I am not that exited but it isnt hard. All you have to do is turn your work in and the lowest grade you get is a c. I am a straight A student and I still do not enjoy school. I participate in almost everything and that is what makes it bearable.

Honestly, none of this stuff is really going to be A problem for me. I go to a very small private school that is k-12. Each school (elementary, middle, and high school) has their own section on the campus. So it shouldn’t be hard for me to make friends cause my friends from middle school will go to high school with me. And we all eat lunch together, so... ya there will still be drama and stuff, but and I’ll have problems with friends, but I won’t need to meet people unless they’re new

Our college (which is what we call high school) is so different to your one. We have different classes and periods but we all have same break times and start at 8:30 everyday apart from Wednesday which we start at 9:30. Also we call middle school intermediate and college university.

My high school is wayyy less cliquey. My high school is split into 2 campuses because so many kids from different towns feed into my school. There is an estimate of over 1000 kids in my grade. Each grade has about that number of kids in total. So it's a total of like 4000 kids. It's crazy ahahah

It really depends on the teacher some might give you hw every night, some every other night, and some never. Just make sure you have time set aside to finish it. Also don't slack off during class so that you won't have to that class work and hw at home
