Craig said he lives in Australia, I think. (Correct me if I'm wrong.) Given that the Slow Mo Guys live in the US/UK, that's a fair bit out of their way.

I reckon the bearings will give out way before that concrete spinner disintegrates. Try adding a rubber wheel to the end of the rope spooler uppey thing, and spinning it up with a washing machine motor with another rubber wheel on it. Use a contraption like your nom nom feeder to move the WM motor out of the path of destruction once the spinner is up to speed. Will save you any more rope burns :)

Hey Craig, once the Fidget Spinner is up to full speed, how long does it take to slow down and stop on it's own? I would imagine the momentum that it is moving at combined with the mass of the concrete would cause it to stay moving for a long time
@Turnah817 жыл бұрын
Hey ! yeah It was 8 and a bit minutes to a complete stop, however I never perfectly balanced it, plus the bearings i used were decommissioned from a giant slashing machine and had some ware/damage...also i wasn't comfortable spooling it up faster in this setting. Changing those aspects I am curious how long it would spin!
@TheMinman8085 жыл бұрын
