Both at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway: Nascar has the Brickyard 400 (currently a defunct event), had their largest attendance in 1994 at the inaugural event- 450,000+ IndyCar has the Indianapolis 500, it’s the world’s largest single day sporting event, and has been every year since the 1940s,(excluding 2020), 450,000+ every year! Some attendances have topped 500,000 back in the 1970s (ABC television giving estimates as high at 750,000+)

Exactly…love the videos but that’s a rough one. And IMS does not announce attendance that’s why it’s hard to find numbers.

@@bigkahunaburger5185 he consistently makes errors in his videos like this though. He’s more about quantity and not quality when it comes to video production.

In order to expand capacity at AT&T Stadium from 80,000 to 100,000+ they actually move a lot of the seats closer together. The seats there are fastened to rails and can be moved closer together for certain events, which means they can add about 2 seats to each row.

The Dodgers-Red Sox game wasn't "random". It was to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Dodgers moving to LA. The Dodgers and White Sox played the 1959 World Series at the Coliseum, which I presume is still the WS attendance record.

The NHL game was a hit because it was Toronto and Detroit. Toronto fans are only 5 hours drive away. That demand made it a sell out instantly since I know many Leaf fans mad they couldn't get tickets. Michigan stadium could have had an upper deck and they could have sold it out still....
