Was particularly interested to see this episode as i am currently running a 57 plate A6 Avant SE 2.7 tdi Mutleytronic which i bought for £1400 in March 24 and it now has 163k up from 146k when i bought it. I know im in a minority but i actually prefer the CVT in these Audis having had an 02 1.9 cvt back in 2008 for a few months. Just bought a complete set (12) front arms, droplinks, steering rod ends for £135 on ebay and a pair of SKF front wheel bearings £113. It gives 38mpg average and has to be the biggest bargain available today in terms of comfort and overall performance. Already looking for a 3.0tdi as I've promised this one to a mate who also loves it...

Had a black 3.0 TDI version of this (2010 Quattro LeMans - but higher spec) for about 5 years. Sold it in 2021 with 410,000 km on it (about half of those done under my watch) when it developed an intermittent oil pressure warning and limp mode fault that wasn't worth fixing. Everything in it still worked though and the interior regularly got comments for how fresh it looked for a car its age with that mileage. IT spent most of its time on the motorways and was a fabulous cruiser for that purpose. Traded it in against a 2012 A7 and as much as I like it, I do still miss its older sister occasionally.

Love your videos and I will continue to watch. Seeing your link regarding car vertical as I have seen it advertised a number of times, I bought a new car and used it for the first time, previously always used HPI. After using it I would NEVER use it again as it missed a stolen marker!! which I later used HPI to check and sure enough it was marked as stolen, went back on to car vertical it wasn’t on my first check (printed copy to prove)as I wouldn’t have bought it, but it appeared after I used HPI, luckily after speaking to the previous owner and the police for over an hour it was an incorrect marker and it was removed from the police database and HPI, however, seeing as I had purchased it at this point if it hadn’t of been a mistake I would have been stuck with a stolen car. Don’t use car vertical use the original and best which is HPI. Keep up the great videos
