Crazy to watch this knowing what we know now about the little bean in there! I don’t think you’d be so hard on yourself for your full ups and split squat reps if you knew what you know now mama! ❤️

This honest vulnerability is what I needed. I was going to the gym 3-4 times a week and enjoying it. I lost close to 40 pounds and I became so proud of myself the work I put in. I had a medical emergency and haven’t been to the gym in close to a year. I was finally cleared to start going back but I’ve been really stressing about my lost progress. I’ve gained weight, I’ve lost muscle, and I’ve been finding it hard to stay motivated. I’ll be a little kinder to myself when I’m struggling going back and starting over. ❤️

Thank you so much for being real and transparent about getting back into the gym. You could have cut all of those heavy or imperfect reps out and you didn’t. As someone who was at their peak fitness level a few years ago, I fell off during covid and I’m just starting to get back into the gym. It’s humbling when you go to try to lift something you could have easily lifted a few years ago and now it’s not happening . It’s hard to stay positive sometimes. I just keep reminding myself that with muscle memory and consistency, I can get back to where I was. Best of luck to you too!!

Thank you for sharing a real workout video where you are on a off day. I often feel this way as I'm new to fitness and it's hard to learn and be motivated when the person you are following is always perfect. I feel reassured about my off days now.

In conclusion: do less resting intervals both in hiit or weightlifting. And keep moving during these intervals and not just sit or lay down 👌🏻

I've been trying to boost my metabolism, so this video is just perfect! (do you suggest exercise before breakfast, or do you start with some protein before you get to exercising?)

I loves this video and found if very helpful. I like lifting and doing barre and/or Pilates style stuff but I love running and I get so discouraged when I hear people say I’m not going to see any results from it. I want to be toned but I want to do work outs I like.

I really enjoy these videos you’ve been doing thank you. Can I ask you a question though? So I’m an endomorph body type, and my current goal is more weight loss. I’ve lost a good bit of weight lifting, but I’m just not making me happy anymore. I keep seeing things about my body type benefits from weight lifting but I much prefer HIIT and steady pace, and it’s just making me feel guilty about walking away. Another thing is I see studies saying as we get older we should continue to weight lift as it will help our joints, but I’m wondering would it even matter and or would I still have the same effect doing the things I enjoy? Personally I’m just feeling lost in the fitness community, and any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you again. 💛

Having a lot of nutrition/biology training, I had a lot of questions as to how you were going to explain, but that was pretty good, particularly when you explained calories. It's so much more complicated that "be in a caloric deficit." That statement drastically oversimplifies the metabolism. Nice job not falling in to that trap.

Being embarrassed of weak sets or failure is something I also struggle with. I sometimes find myself breathing quietly or skipping exercises that look awkward because those gym dudes staring at me. But when I let go of that and just focus on putting in all effort, my workouts actually are more effective in total! We slowly progress, not every Session is in beast mode, and that's okay!
