►1/4 tsp fine sea salt plus a pinch for meringue
►1/4 cup milk, room temperature
►1 1/4 cup confectioners sugar (125 grams)
►1/2 cup sliced almonds, divided
►1 3/4 cup heavy whipping cream
►2 Tbsp granulated sugar
►1 tsp vanilla extract
►12 oz raspberries, divided (keep a handful for garnish)
►2 tsp confectioners sugar, to dust the top

I am German and this Cake has been part of my life for almost 20 years. The original recipe was made with fresh Strawberries.... I been making it with both Strawberries and Raspberries, also used Raspberry pie. So delicious..... Make it into a big sheet cake too. Just double the ingredients. Its an amazing cake. 😋 Heavenly Cake.

Heaven cake 🎂?!?! That's a very cool name! God should send you to heaven to enjoy this cake. This can also be a treat for my aunt since she's in heaven due to her death 😢💔. It's nice how you include fresh raspberries on top to make the cake look more striking. That's creative. There's usually cherries because of the cherry pie filling. Hello Natasha, I am also from Germany, and I bake this cake for many, many years, and it is ALWAYS ALWAYS a DREAM eating it :-)))). Well, I also bake this cake with rhubarb wich is precooked with vanilla-pudding-powder so that you can put this cooled-down on the first cake (like a pudding on the cake), then the cream on it and then the second cake. DELICIOUS, I can tell you... You are so nice and your recipes are all SUPER!!! Go on👌👍💪
