He's done well for himself, nothing like a triumphant homecoming. 👍 He has a quiet elegance to him. He would never have recorded himself. Thanks for documenting his life for us, for posterity (and a _big thanks_ for the subtitles!). I love how the whole class bows in respect when he enters. Please, Japan, never lose that.

It's just not Japan that has respect for a good guy of their nationality.. people are ignorant.

Fabulous. Having been on the bench side of the lab, be it cooking or electronics, I viewed this presentation with great joy. Hiro's opening remarks were complete and efficiently delivered, the mark of an experienced public speaker. After that, the demo of the California roll. Great choice, simple and fine end product. Hiro demonstrated terrific techniques and tips on how to be efficient on the prep bench. To watch Professor Hiro cruising around and interacting with the students(the Cameraman got in to the act too with the knife wetting tip) was great fun to watch .

This is one of the best videos you guys have done. You guys are amazing. I have learned so much over the years and now my family wants me to start posting pics of my creations on Instagram. Maybe I will one day. I just want to say thank you, Chef Terada from the bottom of my heart. It's very generous of you to share your knowledge with the world. It has changed my life - because I am such a sushi lover and because making it yourself is far more economical, I can eat it at any time I wish. I took up the art of sushi during the pandemic and will never stop. I make it for friends and family during special get togethers. It's all because of you and what you share. I thank you.

"In English "Basically the restaurant that you started working at in Miami had terrible ownership and had no direction, it was eventually going to fail and there was no way that hero could ever advanced there because they were holding him down, then he discovered KZbin by chance and the way they they held him back , then he start to become famous through KZbin so that's the direction he went , quit the restaurant and it worked out !!!! Now here he is today successful from hard work and some luck .... because of a broken business and a blind owner ,after meeting a new friend in Miami the cameraman was the turning point in both their lives or he would still be working from place to place until he retired trying to find his way , glad it worked out for Hiro he deserved the blessing....
