June being a good archaeologist... Makes me happy as an archaeologist. It really irritated and horrify me that in the movie they just made her break the stature. I mean that is exact opposite of what an archaeologist would, if fact an archaeologist wouldn't even touch that stature, they would leave in situ until they could get some people to map out the site and take photos and given the indications of human remains they would need to report that and get permission to excavation and examine the site.... It's argh...! The whole disaster could have been averted if June actually acted like an archaeologist not a treasure hunter or an idiot. I wished presentation of archaeologists was better in media.

I don't know if it's just me, but this movie is somewhat similar to "Avengers". Let's start: Government employee (Nick Fury/Amanda Waller) creates a team whose purpose is to fight great evil. Members of the team are super soldier with great aim and fighting skills (Captain America/Deadshot), one quipy guy (Iron Man/Boomerang), hot female with great fighting skills (Black Widow/Harley Quinn), green-skinned brute (Hulk/Killer Croc), immortal who can control one of the elements (Thor/El Diablo) and a powerless guy with primitive weapon (Hawkeye/Slipknot). They are also aided by two people that work for mentioned above government employee and both don't serve any purpose (Coulson/Flagg and Maria Hill/Katana). Opposing them are joke-cracking villain (Loki/Joker), good person that can't control itself due to some magic bullshit (Selvig/Enchantress) and CGI villain (Chitauri/Incubus). Protagonists struggle to work as a team and movie ends with big action finale where they finally fight together against faceless grunts. At the end, CGI villain is dead, good-gone bad villain becomes good again and joke-cracking villain escapes. Just saying. EDIT: Deadshot = Iron Man: both are jerks that are actually good people and both are wearing a red suit; Captain Boomerang = Captain America - both are wearing blue outfits, both have "captain" in their name and both use throwing weapons that come back to them.
