I live 2 blocks from this house. They did an excellent job. Many in Lincolnville are repurposing older structures. We recently had a hugh old home torn down though on some sketchy emergency demolishment that the Mayor wasnt aware of. Its a great town still. Much bigger than in the sixties when I first started coming from HS on vacays.Moved here in 1970 for college. I just wish theyd stop putting up hotels downtown. Parking is terrible,cobbled streets made for horse and buggies. But charming historical nautical seaside delight. Thanks for this video y'all.

What a wonderful home! I would be tempted to put the steeple with the cross back in and listen to Dr. Charles Stanley loudly through out the house, while sitting up on the second floor opening, and looking toward the kitchen area!

Beautiful property. I love how they draped the gorgeous fabric from the center peak of the ceiling, so cleaver and elegant.

What a great property for those that want an open floor plan! And I love a window that lets in light yet provides privacy so there’s no need for blinds or curtains! ❤️

Are the swaths of fabric hung purely for decoration purposes or do they serve as an acoustic aid?

Well done adaptive reuse of a church, so many I’ve seen in the past are very choppy, they nicely avoided that here by working with the contours of the space. While I prefer my fully historic home, this is great for the segment of people who love “open floor plans and entertaining” while getting the nice historic exterior look and saving an historic structure.

I love the beachy vibe with the dramatic draped fabrics, and that mosaic bathtub is fantastic. Definitely a challenge to convert the use without chopping up the space. Good for open floor plan fans, though for me having the kitchen in a different building from the master suite would be problematic. Love that orange cut-work dress, Laine. :)

I am a fellow preacher's kid( Lutheran, ironically)! I love these kind of houses! However, this would be too open concept for me to feel comfortable in. I like my defined rooms! Still interesting to see though. Thank you!

$975,000 is the listing price. The garage (?) does not seem to be part of the deal (CORRECTION: 2nd building contains a bedroom/ bath/sitting area and is included ) The opaque widows would drive me crazy but the Zillow ad hypes it as an Airbnb- so no being able to see outside is short term. With an Estimated Monthly payment of $5,956, you need it rented EVERY NIGHT.
@OurRestorationNation6 ай бұрын
It isn’t a garage; he’s the 1930’s addition that we show you that has the extra living room and primary suite
@goodsingersnotjustcutesong13236 ай бұрын
Sorry! I thought I removed that part right after posting and going back to your re-view that portion of your video. From the Zillow listing: "The annex building, a separate concrete block suite, feels like an urban pied-à-terre.'" Yeah, I had to look up the meaning.
