The video itself lacks some data. Through Chinese scriptures and archaeological evidence, it is known that Japan had many states/kingdoms during the Yayoi and Kofun periods. These states, for the most part, were conquered as the Yamato Kingdom expanded through military campaigns or annexation agreements in exchange of influence in the central government.
