Great video, I was at the range and I took it apart to show a fellow shooter and I could not figured it out how to put it back together, thank God he was not looking. I had to come home and search for a video 😭

Stock on mine was super tight. I used the sling, clipped it to the stock and pulled it off. I put a little piece of paper towel where the sling clipped on so I didnt scratch any metal while pulling.

So I’m getting one and I heard the trigger is kinda heavy. What do you recommend for a trigger upgrade?

I cant for the life of me get the right side selector switch back on. When i try this all out with the naked trigger housing it works fine. Then when i it into the main trigger housing itself it wont fit.

Does HK have any plans to make the SP5 more friendly to those with registered sear packs? I'm assuming it is as it is for export compliance, but how hard would it be for HK USA to re-profile the shelf to HK94 spec and fit the gun with a FA MP5 carrier cut to clear once the guns arrive in Virginia? It seams like HK is missing out on the entire machine-gun community, where no one would complain about the SP5 cost. If the concern is added cost, sell two skus: one sear ready and one not.

HK is not in the business of providing full auto ready funs to the civilian market.....you will not see that as an option

There’s a lot of political cross currents in Germany that HK has to navigate. Very choppy waters for them. Even having US branch is politically risky. It’s unfortunate but that’s where we are right now.

Can you please confirm with me the bar that you mentioned in the trigger pack that you push down, is that slightly bent to the right hand side. Is it normal to be bent in that direction?

Is the F style recoil spring directional? It looks identical on both ends.
