Just tested my first HM7000 decoder, amazing idea. Seems well implemented. Can't wait for hopefully more sounds from the continent (France, Germany in my case), and maybe someday smaller decoders that will more surely fit in N scale. Hope this will make this a commercial success; but in the meantime, it's time to burn some cash and build an even richer product Hornby 😉

Prévoyez-vous une version de l’appli en français et des sons pour les loco sncf ? Merci. Are you planning a version of the app in French and sounds for SNCF locomotives ? Thanks.

Impressive technology. I do have to ask though, once you've set up a bluetooth decoder on a track connected with the HM7000, can you then take that loco and your smartphone to run on another layout that doesn't have an HM7000 connected?

Yes. The HM7000 IS the decoder, so you link the loco to your smartphone, independent of the layout’s control system. Your smartphone will be able to run the loco no matter the layout.

Revolutionary? Bachmann brought out Bluetooth decoders nine years ago. Soundtraxx seven months ago. I'll bet the HM7000 doesn't work with their apps?
@ausfoodgarden Жыл бұрын
Too true I've had one of the Sundtraxx Blunami decoders for 6 months. You can use them on DC DCC or via Bluetooth. Are the Hornby ones that flexible I wonder?
@angelagowland Жыл бұрын
@@ausfoodgarden Yeah, 3 x the price of Hornby.
@Poliss95 Жыл бұрын
@@angelagowland Only twice the price and probably three times as good going by Hornby's record on DCC.
@ausfoodgarden Жыл бұрын
@@angelagowland Well double anyway if the UK preorder price is correct. Here in Australia I guarantee you the Hornby one will cost way closer to the Soundtraxx decoders. But, point taken.
