It’s time to do an Extreme DeClutter Clothes!! This time we are addressing both the Hoarding Disorder and ADHD. We are using the KonMari Method once again and I noticed this round it felt completely different…I wasn’t overly overwhelmed! I felt like I could tackle it!! I actually felt like a Minimalist because of the amount of stuff we decluttered this episode!!

I have done the same. Even small things like headbands get put with their season. Halloween, Easter, Christmas, ect. I listen to Dana K. White and she says to put things where you would look for things first and those things just clicked in my head that I would look for them in those holiday bins.

I am so happy how you explained the levels of pulling out the keep items first -- Christmas, off-season from the closet, in-season, then sentimental -- then, looking at what was left, knowing your favorites were safe and sound, you could release the rest to bless others. Way to go in sharing your process and information as well as your clothes.

Im not quite sure what just happened, think I'm still in shock, but... 🥳🦄🥳🦄🥳 That was amazing!! I think you just understood fully what the Konmari method is all about. Its not about making it overwhelming or an impossible task, its about seriously assessing what you have in one category and realising you have the things you love and then all the excess that you always see past until you put it all in one place. Letting go of that excess is what sets you free, you looked so at peace with that decision, it was beautiful to see. So proud Mrs Heart!

AMAZING! My mouth literally fell open when you said you were getting rid of all the rest. Stunned and so inspired. I have to say, when I was looking at the huge pile I noticed that you hardly have any black shirts, or dark clothing. I’m inspired by that as I tend to go to dark clothing even in the summer-but I love that you have such beautiful colors that bring happiness to others that see you. My goal is to add more color to my wardrobe when I shop. Lastly, you could take all of the awesome sentimental clothing and have a quilt made out of them. Then you could feel joy when you see them each time you use it. Project Repat does an excellent job-I have used them twice fir my kids’ sentimental clothing. Keep up the amazing work!! Woo hoo!!!! 💜🦄

🥳 Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaas! 🥳 I love this! This is such an awesome shift - where the 'joy' of the clothes is no longer outweighed by the sense of burden/frustration of keeping/organizing/storing it. When you're actually managing the stuff, keeping it is no longer as appealing.

woah that was a ton, huge step! you are doing amazing! i started watching you because of my hoarding father, seeing the stress of it all weigh on someone and wanting to be able to help... through watching your videos i found out i have some of the same tendencies, they arent bad, because im pretty minimal, but becoming minimal is kinda what unearthed the realization of having those tendencies. im side tracked.. seeing you at the end of this video dancing in that empty tub, you were absolutely glowing like the freedom from the things brightened you. i hope one day my father will have the power to go through his stuff and be able to have that same freedom.

Ms. Heart, First let me say how amazing this video is! You should be so proud of yourself and how far you have come. I have been following your channel since about 6 months into your journey and it has been an absolute pleasure to watch you grow. I do not have hoarding disorder myself but have always been interested in learning about it and the mentality behind it. You have done such an amazing job educating me and others to help us be more supportive and empathetic to others around us who may struggle with hoarding disorder, ADHD, anxiety, OCD. I have never commented before, but my family and I have been here cheering you on behind the scenes. Congratulations on yet another major breakthrough and keep going! ❤️🦄

So unbelievably proud of you! You’ve come so far. I think I’m going to show my mom this video next week when i go and do laundry at her house. Because she’s a lot like you and has said that you remind her of herself when I’ve shown her your videos before. I’m hoping that this year is the year that I can help her overcome her anxiety and help her hoarding tendencies. Hoarding runs in her side of the family and I still struggle with it myself but I’ve really been working on it the last year.

May I suggest you look at Ms hearts older videos and try to work out where your mum is on her journey. It can make you feel 'well I'll never get there so I won't even start' if you look at people too far away from you in their journey. Thanks for trying to help your mom.

Amazing! I've been decluttering for over a year now. Every week or 2, I do a corner or a closet. Where does it all come from? I'm not shopping. My 2 bdrm apartment gives me a spare room to gather too much crap. Yesterday, I realized one of my big shoe boxes was empty, and reduced my Xmas decor to just 2 of those/ got rid of a huge box. This morning, I pulled all the tea out of the spice cabinet and put it in an empty drawer in my dining area. Recycled 3 tea boxes. So much more room! I have about 80 plants, so extra pots and baskets wind up in a corner...today, I'm taking them out again...3 items: empty corners look SO great!

Yaaaaaaaas! That's when you know your mindset is changing, when you've gotten used to clear spaces and know how good that feels for your mind. I know when I'm getting angry/ feeling suffocated by things that it's time to ask for help- my husband gets it and helps me knock out things so we get our spaces back and I go back to the person he knows 😆

Role model! I LOVE that you show the follow-up steps. Those are the ones I struggle with the most when decluttering. Thank you for showing what it can look like! It makes it less overwhelming!

When i heard you say "I am done" I totally related! I was there a couple of years ago. It will feel so freeing, you will feel like a million bucks when you dont have the overwhelming feeling every ...time...you go to get ready for your day! I am so happy for you! You looked like you felt complete! Big hugs!

My clothes were taking over my life, there was so much I could not possibly get to wear all of it in my life time. As there are only 7 days in a week I worked on giving myself 10 days of clothing ( just encase I don't get to the laundry) plus a few evening outfits. I have got to say what a difference my closet is so much lighter I can see what I have for the first time and I'm so relaxed about it. Well done what a moment for you congratulations.

Looks like my couch did a few years ago. I should have taken pics. Clothes on top of clothes, shoes, shoes, and more shoes. I'm still moving forward and it feels soooooo gooooooood! There will always be hope and prayers for you. You're strong and willing, so go ahead and pat yourself on the back you're important and you're enough. Keep taking that first step!

Now if I could just get consistent sleep on my 3rd shift schedule maybe I could get some decluttering done too!

I’m so glad such a deserving person is able to find peace the way you have in your life. God bless.
