I nodded throughout this video... I can relate with every single point you made... Going through life reflexively rather than reflectively has made me miss out on so much. I actually used to keep a journal but was no longer consistent. Yet whenever I go through all I had written in the past, I see how God has been so consistently faithful in my life and how far he has brought me. It's providential that I stumbled on this video on the last day of January 2023. I hope to begin to live reflectively, and remember. Also I can so relate with the almost idle weekend you had. I was sick for a long time this past month and I just couldn't wait to go back to work.. I was so bored even though I was so ill I just couldn't sit ( or lie) still. I thank God for healing. I will trust in God. Even though it’s difficult, I will continue to walk with faith and not by sight. Please pray for me. My husband passed away years ago. I’m a single mother. Both of my sons are autistic, they require a lot from me because they are non verbal. Every month is a struggle. Since I lost my job as a social worker at Forsyth hospital. I lost my job because I declined the vaccine. I declined because of my pre existing health condition lupus, and heart disease. I was denied my medical/religious exemption. I wish I could go back but the mandate is still in place for hospitals that participate in Medicare and Medicaid all employees must have covid 19 vaccine. I get harassed constantly and mocked for sharing my testimony and for asking for prayers but prayers are all I want and I also want to bring awareness of how vaccine mandates are ruining many ppls lives. I’m now waitressing and I’m so thankful but not making nearly enough to get by. I’m tired of struggling putting food on the table it’s so discouraging. But even as I’m put down and harassed because of my situation. I have faith that our Heavenly Father will provide he has THIS FAR! Faith over fear. Please pray for me and my boys! God bless! 🥰

Seems to me you have a lawsuit you could bring about. The mandatory vaccines have been canceled for our military recently. Can you be a social worker at a private practice with someone or start your own? Then you could have the hours you need to take care of your sons, and do the work you have experience with, and are more than likely good at.

You’re awesome and dedicated with good integrity! ❤ I also lasted through 2 years without vaccination even though where I live in the world, I technically can’t even go into a restaurant to eat, or grocery store. Finally, 1 Jan 2023, they are lifting the restrictions, because it can’t be controlled any longer. For the past 2 years, I resonate with your feelings. But, when you believe and have faith hard enough, some opportunity opens up, I’m surprised I was able to support my own living even with health condition. And it’s only going to get better. I'm currently in seminary (independent Catholic Church) and your homilies have dovetailed many of my assignments and have caused me to reflect in a way I wouldn't have had I not heard your homily. My journey has spanned over 10 years of wandering to find the church to which I belong and will accept my "controversial" ministry for trauma survivors of sexual and domestic violence. Your homily today especially caused reflection and confirmation that the trajectory of my ministry, like that of Christ's, is one that will upend the status quo and follow the way of Christ rather than the ways of man that have woven their way into church teachings.

What timing on this homily I cannot tell you the significance in the characters allowed on KZbin. Everything father Mike said, makes sense, is reasonable, encouraging, faithful, and along with other “messages“ this past week or so I think God is telling me something, not for the first time, but it’s time to listen and do. I love Mary. I talk with God, read about God, but almost all my prayers are marian :) interesting. But Mary is never the center of marian prayers. Sometimes Marian cult is harmful, all those statues and paintings.
