There are many rumors and embellished stories regarding Lara Fabian, and the romantic relationship between she and Dimash is one of them. There's even word that she was/is Dimash's mentor. Not true. She has advised him, yes, perhaps helped him in some ways, but mentor? No. Romantic relationship? No.

It is not hard to understand why Dimash had such a crush on her. She is an exceptional physical beauty and her singing talent. Now in her 50's and she still works out with her vocal coach every day. She was highly dedicated to being the best she can be and so is Dimash.

Lara is Belgian\ Italian who adopted Canada as her base country. She speaks French, Italian, English, and Spanish fluently but has sung in twelve languages. That's just a little background. You will get a lot more info if you become more involved with her music. In my opinion, she is the premiere singer in the world. But you will find out for yourself as you keep listening.

Here the meaning of: Je n'ai plus de vie et même mon lit Se transforme en quai de gare quand tu t'en vas /I don't have a life anymore/ even my BED become a train station when you go away./ The only way I make sense of that sentence is that he come to sleep over, but always to go away soon after. In Europe, The train station is where you go -- to go away on a trip. So, her bed become a transit place (a little like if someone was to visit his mistress on a fly layover). Take my translation with a grain of salt. I am a Quebec French speaker and that song is written with a Metropolitan French. It also took me some time to give a meaning at these 2 sentences. I am a fan of her since about 1991, first album title "Lara Fabian"

Haha. Lara Fabian is a HUGE rabbit hole. All her songs are excellent and you'll get 100 different recommendations from 100 different people. This video is a clip from her concert "From Lara with Love" (2000), from Montreal which is (mostly) where she is from (she splits her time between places in Europe as well). All the songs from that concert are stellar. Basically, flip a coin and react to whatever comes up and you won't lose. I believe Dimash covers her version of Adagio. She wrote the lyrics to the piece by Albinoni (with others). If you want another phenomenal voice - but totally different tone, check out Faouzia, who wrote her take on Fur Elise (live performance video is the best). A young, but growing rabbit hole.

You have touched on my third favorite singer. My first is Dimash Kudaibergen and than my second favorite singer Dan Vasc. please also listen to him. He is also classically trained like Dimash and Lara but actually a metal singer. His metal songs are as good as his opera. His AMAZING GRACE is fantastic and his I'll make a man out of you from the Disney film Mulan is fantastic but his most phenomenal performance is Gethsemane from Jesus Christ superstar.

"Female Dimash"?!? 🤨 OK, I don't know how well acquainted you are with the nuances of the English language, but when you say "Female Dimash" you are saying she is like Dimash, that Dimash came first and she is like him. And that is not correct. Even saying that Dimash is the "male Lara" would not be accurate because he's got a way to go in emulating Lara. @@MisterHowzat Fully agree. Lara has a musical maturity Dimash lacks at this time. But, he's younger so that makes some sense. I always get a laugh at the comparison other than he's a big fan of hers... and for good reason. You can see much of her movements and style choices being copied by him.

It's 1:45am and I was about to go to bed and I saw this video. So............. My Mount Rushmore has Dimash, Lara, Angelina and a new addition, Emma Kok. (Believe me, you will discover Emma). What do they have in common? They all touch my heart when they sing and I am usually brought to tears. Their being is all about love and it is something that cannot be taught or manufactured it must be real and they are all very genuine. "Good night, Aaron. Btw, time that last note."

The "quai de gare" reference may be part of the underlying idiom of the phrase. It seems to be something like docking platform or docking wharf. It doesn't literally refer to trains at all, but perhaps was brought over from ocean/ship language. Sort of along the lines of a flat storage place to park her body during sleep, just a functional place to get through the night. I'm not quite sure if she's referring to when he was still with her sometimes or after he was completely out of her life.

For the lucky dears going to Budapest early for Dimash’s concert, they get to see Lara also!!! Performing in Budapest April 30th. I would love for you to react to this same song “Je suis malade”, as performed by Forestella, another rabbit hole for you to go down to. Winners of a grueling South Korean singing contest called the Phantom Singer 2 (2017), they are out of this world incredible group. They perform “Je suis malade” in French which none of them speak, with amazing pronunciation and emotion. A true masterpiece. From Lara, I suggest you listen to “Requiem for a fou”, with Johnny Halliday, and “ Broken Vow” in English. (She is fluent in multiple languages). Happy listening! !

To understand the metaphor picturing her bed as a train station platform, just imagine how it feels when you are the one to stay on the platform while the one you love is leaving with the train, and you don't know if you ever gonna see that person again...

Thanks for the share! I watch all I can on her to make sure it's not just me. I get lost in her voice/purity of soul, so i am so guilty of rewind, but it just gives me a reason to hear her again. That's why I don't do reactions, I would be worse trying to figure out what i wanna say about her last 3 words she gave me (in every word she sings). It's probably why so many reactions i hear end with "I have no words to say" I'm learning so much about music and learned that everyone has an instrument from the industry professionals that do it for a living and understanding about the art of song. I love to hear how they are dumbfounded trying to explain her voice, it's not just the beauty of her voice, but rather she lay's her soul bare to the world, No one can do this without letting go and she does it with every word, every song. What does time have to do with it? A reaction video lasts as long as it takes. And if you have something to say for three quarters of an hour, then say it.
