Without any growls, Tatiana would still be a chart breaking singer.

It's funny she's so talented and people focus on her for obvious reason, but she might actually be the least talented person in the band. That's how good Vlad, Eugene and Roman are. They're doing riffs and pulling off styles I've never heard anyone pull off and I've been a metalhead for 30 years and a musician for 25 years.
@ryanexsus3 жыл бұрын
@@effindave6909 You can definitely hear the Ryan Martinie influence in Eugene's bass. LD 50 might have been the best bass tone ever. Apparently Vlad wrote like 9 of the 11 songs on this album so he's just an insane genius.

Remember that feeling when you heard Metallica's "One" for the first time? How this was a revolution in metal. Got the same feeling with this song more than 30 years later.
@Pizvo2 жыл бұрын
Jinjer just brought this aesthetic to the spotlight because they found the lost formula for not sounding the same as every other metalcore and djent band that focuses too much on copying specific hooks from their core influences, but let's not pretend like SikTh wasn't doing something conceptually similar to this on Death of a Dead Day back in 2006. It's just that they were so ahead of the curve back then they fell into obscurity and everybody from the scene who worshiped them focused on copying their sound and technique instead of matching their talent and songwriting. I like Jinjer, they are very talented and skilled as musicians, but original and revolutionary is not attributes i would give them so easily.
