If we are going to measure a chef's Greatness by his financial success, Joel Robuchon is the greatest. However, if we are going to measure a chef's Greatness by what really matters, Jacques Pepin is the greatest. I've never heard anyone say, I wake up early on Saturdays to watch Joel Robuchon......... Ever

Two different careers, two different talents. - Pépin is a chef without a restaurant. He owned one in the seventies but the experience was brief and never repeated, after that, which is now most of his career, he was a consultant, a TV host and an author. - Robuchon spent his life in his restaurants. Books and TV were a very small part of his activities. Robuchon was a true creator while Pépin is an amazing teacher.

I find you need the banana for that creamy texture. If you're grinding up a frozen mango you're just making a slushie.

@@TheLadyLuck523 you could probably mix in some mango with the bananas, and still get that mango flavor without completely ruining the texture. Something worth experimenting with!
