This homemade pie crust is so easy to make using your food processor! In just minutes you can make an all-butter homemade pie crust to fill with your favorite pie filling. Using a food processor to make pie crust is a great time saver, espeically when meal prepping for thanksgiving and the holidays during pie season! This recipe makes 2 one crust pies for pumpkin pie, pecan pie, etc, or 1 one crust pie for apple pie, chicken pot pie, etc. Don't by your pies from the store or the refridgerated or frozen pie shells when you can make this one that is so much better!

You’re such a good mom and wife making all these treats for your family. I’m so impressed with home schooling mom’s, y’all are tough women. I worked and have a successful business with my husband but it has a cost. I’m trying to be retired and take care of my granddaughters and teach them the old ways I was taught. I love the pie crust

Thanks Liza! That is sweet of you to say! You are doing a great job working and raising your granddaughters now. Everything does seem to have a cost, doesn't it? You feel like working and having a successful business has come at a cost, and sometimes I feel homeschooling and focusing only on my family has come at a cost, too. I think it's hard to have it all. We all do our best. I love that you're teaching your grandaughters the skills you have--they will benefit greatly from your knowledge!!

@ it does but you will never regret having spent time with those babies. My daughter had a wonderful life with me and my husband. Things went bad from a bad marriage and no support. So hard watching your grown kids struggle and be hurt and ultimately lose their life. We will always as long as god willing take care of her girls. They are so excited to move to the new house. I will make sure they are ready to stand on their on. 3 more years and they will be through college but they can live with us until they can stand on their own. I’m hoping things will get better for young people to be able to afford to live on their own. This country has almost been destroyed by horrible leadership

I don't regret a moment, I know it has been the very best for my kids, and I've been blessed to be able to stay home with them and create the bonds we have as a family, homeschooling and working the farm together. It has been an adventure for sure! I'm so sorry about your daughter, that must have been the hardest thing ever for you to have to watch. The bright light in it all is that you have her daughters, and they are very lucky to have you! Enjoy your Thanksgiving with them!!

I was just commenting to my husband how I wasn’t going to make homemade pie. I must admit we’ve been buying ours for years. Then I go “oh! Robyn posted a video!” And it’s pie crust, the very reason I haven’t done it! I’ve got the food processor, the way you did it doesn’t look so time consuming! So…………maybe? A wonderful pumpkin pie? 🥧 Thanks so much! Food for thought! 🤔☺️🧡🇺🇸

Oh I love this Cynthia! You’ve already got the food processor and I’m sure all of the ingredients-make the pie crust!! It is so fast and easy and tastes SO much better! I make a lot of chicken pot pies and quiche with it, more often than dessert pies. Homemade makes it more special, too. Maybe try it out for the first time before Thanksgiving (have a little pre-Thanksgiving treat to try/share) just so you don’t wish you had just bought your pie! lol 😂 I’m so happy you’re considering trying to make your own 💚😊 🥧

Curious what you filled the pie crusts with?!

Thanks for asking Carol! A pumpkin pie made with sweetened condensed milk instead of evaporated milk, and a pecan pie made with brown sugar and pure maple instead of corn syrup! Working on getting that video out this weekend!
