You always can push 5 on their videos and get to the actual video start. Here we got jokes, good shots, and a few things we can learn. Ifor example always did it backward: i made water-sugar - no wonder they didn't like it! >3

2:00 i read CRUSHING THOSE for smaller colonies does help and i can confirm. When there only like < 2mm ants or so they cant really carry or crush those seeds. I saw them THROW OUT the hard yellow ones and take grass and others with them! Only later on they also took the yellows...

Try a tiny mortar. Mine is 7cm. Ideal. Can also crush charcoal tablets before mixing them with earth/substrate. Charcoal kills mold but ants don't mind. In fact a few species gather it and place it around the nest. I think they know of the effect it has... Perhaps that's of use someday. I never heard that one mentioned in videos and rarely in forums. Almost a secret tip that might save a colony... ps. almost forgot: 1 penny sized tablet on ~1-2 glasses worth of earth. Traces are enough. You probably won't even see it. anyhow have a good one!
