Yep, but to be fair. Your club did almost everything right so far in the transfer window. The everything that went wrong is on the pitch and it came from the decision of not sacking that bald fraud sooner.

Spurs is C at best, they signed Solanke for huge money considering he had one big season in mid to low tier team. I'd be surprised if he manages to score at least 15 in prem this year. They payed 40 mil for Gray and if they don't plan to use him he can go back on the list of prospects they didn't develop. He only had 29 min in first 3 games. They splashed 100+ mil pounds and still didn't fix their depth issues.

Forest only getting a C is crazy. Surely not an A+/A, but a solid B makes sense to me. They kept all of their key players while adding depth and players to the 11 everywhere except striker. The net spend on the window was ~19MM loss, so sensible with FFP while leaving something for January if they need it.

Don’t get people questioning City at A. They are arguably the best team itw which hard to upgrade. But Gundo for free is amazing and Savinho for 25m is a bargain, he’s gonna be one of the best wingers in the league soon. They also kept Ederson and got a lot of money for Alvarez who’s a top player but always gonna feature as second striker to Haaland. They are in net positive and I’d argue got stronger

Nope, your main problem is the tactic. It has been 3 years since ETH got this job and his tactic of playing basketball didn’t evolve one bit. People keep saying that City haven't replaced Alvarez...but they kinda have. Or rather, the answer to the question "Did they even need to replace him?" is a very clear "No, they didn't.", at least for now/this season. Bc City _do_ have an Alvarez replacement. He's called *Kevin De Bruyne,* who was missing the first _twenty_ PL games last season, which was the main reason Alvarez got so many minutes to begin with.

I see opportunities to grab a marquee signing for Arsenal next season. Especially if they win the PL or UCL to turn the heads of players. Their lack of spending this summer may let them break the bank for Leao next summer. FDJ & Musiala are running down contracts & cannot leave for free. Camavinga & Rodrygo might lack minutes at Madrid if Valverde/Guler eat into their matchtime. Even Trent may be temped if Arsenal REALLY shine this season. Then there's the high potential players like Nico, Ferguson, Diao in attack. If they get a marquee & another highly rated talent, I can understand why they held back this summer.

@@MrImabowss Did you understand the word “on paper”? What I meant is that if we don’t consider the performance on the pitch, then United has a better transfer window because the manager gets the players and the staffs he wants while Chelsea is still in a transitional period. I feel like nobody is being objective with chelsea's window in isolation. Yes we have over the last few transfer windows put ourself in a position where our club has too many players but Enzo has made it clear what he wants and its obviously not eehat we have. In retrospect BECAUSE we sacked potch our transfer window in 2023 can be rated an F but this transfer window we have achieved our goals no matter how nefarious you think they are. Offloaded players enzo doesn't want , expetitiously solving our biggest problem which is potential ffp issues. Signed players with potential for fair prices granted Neto may have been a little expensive but still a great player. Kept our key players and replaced the ones we lost (kept palmer replaced Gallagher) Rating the position our club is in and rating our transfer window is not the same thing. We have had an excellent transfer window outgoings almost matching incomings monitarily, reducing wage bill, improving first team, fixing imminent ffp concerns, Is the vaccuos regarding the long term future of chelsea? MAYBE, but to act as if it definitely is is disingenuous. We have young players getting better and a large amount of sell on value because yes we have spent the most in Europe for the last 3 years but we also have made the most with player sales. I mean i guess if you want to rate our window in context of our other windows you can say we have had D tier windows and our club is in a D tier position but to say this window was D tier is objectively incorrect

A net spend of €26m says it all. I'm really disappointed as an Arsenal fan. 0 first team players. Calafiori is an unknown in the Prem, Merino looks like a good signing and Sterling is very average buisness compared to what they could have got and Arsenal fans have mostly disliked him for years. It's an OK window. Not a howler but nothing too exciting. Also Sesko wouldnt've have been a top tier signing imo either with huge risk at least in year 1. Buy quality buy once. Buy cheap buy twice

I am a Liverpool fan as well and there is no way we have better players than City. They beat us comfortably when it comes to overall quality. With Arsenal there is a conversation to be had, but overall squad I would give slight edge to Arsenal mainly because we will need a lot more changes in the near future to keep up the pace of City and Arsenal when our best players start to fade a bit (because Salah and VVD will be in their mid 30s in a year or two and Robbo is 30 and already is declining due to his crazy intense role under Jurgen before). Still, we have a great squad and potentially I might underrate few players still like Harvey who might explode, Gravenberch that is starting to show how good he can be when plays regularly and other young players in our squad yet to fulfil their potential. It will be very difficult to replace world class players like Alisson (with Mamardashvali maybe we solved that future issue, but who knows, Alisson is phenomenal), Salah, VVD, Robbo who probably lost his world class status, but still, so let's not get carried away too much.
