Yum!!! Thanks!!! I have been craving apple fritters and I just can’t bring myself to stopping at a regular donut shop and purchasing a seed oil full donut.🤮 And also using sourdough makes it a healthier choice. Thank you!!!!

I grew up with a mom that cooked from scratch and apple fritters was something she made a few times a year. I'm so glad you shared this! Memories! I'll be making them for my kiddos this week. ♡

I'm with you on all your recommendations. No Red Delicious apples for anything! My favorite is grannysmith....but I know lots of recipes they do not work for. Put caramel on them though! Your little one is getting so big already! Don't blink.....

I love all apples! I do agree some apples taste better for specific recipes though. Love this recipe definitely going to try it!

Honey crisp is my favorite eating apple, but I will use Cortland a lot in baking! 🍎🍎

I agree honeycrisp is where it’s at!!! The best!!! And agree with you, Washington apples are THE worst. Grew up on those and always hated apples.

I am Learning so much from you. You are helping mebb Vv lots on my sour dough journey. I just am not getting the bubbles you get with my starter. I flow your suggestions yet nothing. It’s been about a month. So if you can give any suggestions I would appreciate it I’m using whole wheat & rye flour. Thanks

I don't have sour dough and can't get the hang of making it right now, can I use just regular flour? I love sourdough bread also!

Could those be made and fermented overnight?

Just curious, how often do you change the oil in your deep fryer? I love deep fried foods, but I hate wasting large amounts of my expensive, healthy oils

I was wondering this too. I don't have a deep fryer but idk if I could make a recipe and fill up my cast iron with coconut oil

These sound delicious, but my husband and I don’t eat much fried food. Can I use less oil to make these?
