Don’t go to Southern Philippines! Especially sulu, Tawi-Tawi, Basilan, Maguindanao, Cotabato and Palawan. If ever you all wanna visit Philippines go to Davao city or stay in Cebu or Manila.

Most likely in Mindanao. Stay away from the south. There's even been kidnappings near Davao which is supposed to be one of the safest cities in the Philippines.

Well its safe to say that 90% of the militants who kidnapped them met their end in Marawi. A triumphant defeat for them where they lossed 2000 and counting militants against the Philippine Military. Those who are in the video are probably dead or missing by now.

My question is why was she let go and everyone else killed? When crimes get committed someone who knows you is usually involved. They know your location and moving patterns and knows exactly when to target. For all we know the girlfriend could have been an informant.
