I LOVE the final project, but I did go.... "another dragon?? SIGH" at the beginning. I just want like a fairy or something. Or a cute little piglet. The fantasy stuff isn't my area of interest, but Jazza is so talented and his videos are so high quality, I'll watch no matter what he makes! :-)

I’m really struggling mentally with school right now and maintaining my gpa and my friendships and spending time with my family is really hard. Art has always been something relaxing for me and your videos have always given me a source of inspiration and provided the motivation for me to drag myself out of that state of giving up and draw something that makes me get back into living. So just… thank you Jazza.

@@lauragrace5622 I'm guessing it might have to do with the fact he doesn't have any pupils? Dragons don't really have eyebrows so a lot of toothless' expressions come from his eyes and mouth, and it's pretty hard to get detail like that when you're carving foam (with a tool that I don't think is made with art as its main function)
@daidarabotchi3891
@daidarabotchi3891 2 жыл бұрын
I was also thinking Hiccup (only just realised it's 'Hiccup' as in the American spelling, I always thought he was still spelt 'Hiccough') looked great and Toothless was a little iffy. I think it's actually more impressive that the human looks better. I think part of it is that Toothless expresses himself through his pupils and his ears, and the restrictions of the foam make that quite hard to show.
