Rhaenyra's council is nervous. They're made up of various Crownlands lords who all have lands and castles around King's Landing. If the Greens attack, they will attack them first. That's why they're so aggressive. They aren't necessarily right but they do have reasons for their views.

In this case the Blackwoods (Blacks) started the attack to the Brackens (Greens) and Daemon attacked Harrenhal which belonged to the Greens. The blacks started their firsts military actions, King Aegon should too and respond in kind which is crazy coz Rhaenyra is offering peace and is attacking them at the same time in all fronts, how can you make peace with a person like that?.

I dislike that the show puts forth that Aegon was put on the throne in the end due to Viserys misinterpreted final words. When the reason is, his gender, the precedence and tradition. Then the elephants in the rumour: marriage to daemon (who Rhaenyra was named to keep off the throne) and her rumoured illegitimate children. But instead, they pushed this narrative with Viserys final words that make no sense because the green faction was putting Aegon forth even before. So even if Viserys final words are misinterpreted… it doesn’t change the other arguments which alicent would have voiced.

I agree with you that they put too much emphasis on the misinterpretation, but to be fair, they have also, though low key for now, made a point last episode when Otto said to Aegon "Is that what you think" after Aegon said "my father made me king", saying that Otto made him king. Also, in episode 9 of season 1, its been a long time, but I recall Alicent being at the council table and kind of saying " wait, you guys were already planning to make Aegon King even before I brought word of the King changing his mind" , and it was like " Yup.....anyways, moving on". I kind of hope they make it more clear at some point that it was Otto, but I doubt it since, like the show said, it's all kind of unimportant at this point what was the start of it all.

The show didnt put forth that. Maybe you just misunderstood. Last season, the council showed that they were already going to put Aegon on the throne. This whole misunderstanding thing is solely for one character, Alicent. Shes a main character so it seems like a big thing but that's all it is. I must say though, i do wish now that Aegon knows his father still didn't want him, he would seek other validation that he is the rightful heir ie tradition and all that. I haven't fully read the books so I dont know how much time passes between big battles but I know for certain the show doesn't have the budget for battle after battle so we gonna need other conflicts. I would love to see that.

The tipping point is the battle in Burning mill between the Brackens and the blackwoods... yes they have centuries of fued with one another and they finally find an excused to settle things by using the "false flag operation" and name of Aegon II and Rhae. 😅. . Then the domino effect comes.. as ravens/news of the first battles spread all around the realm.

Larys Strong literally has a club foot. This condition is generally corrected through surgery at a very young age these days. So in modern societies that have advanced medical care we rarely see it anymore. However, while not common, it was certainly a well known condition in the middle ages. And whenever anyone had any kind of physical deformity it was often seen as an outward sign of a flawed character or a cursed from the gods. Consider how Tyrion Lannister was treated. So while we the audience know Larys is a terrible person, he has also probably been treated like an outcast for most of his life. His good fortune is that he was born into a noble family. But think about how he must’ve been treated when growing up, especially when compared to his brother who was considered one of the strongest men in Westeros.

Avoid them at all costs because they spoil far too much and then those of us who avoid them are subjected to youtubers reacting to them and putting spoilers in the thumbnails. I've unsubbed from multiple channels because of the egregious thumbnails they have used just straight up spoiling major scenes or character introductions because they were shown in trailers and they think everyone watches them. Viserys gave Aegon his name because he thought it was him that is the prince that was promised but he later then realized it's rhaenyra and the white hart did come to her which is a sign from the gods and when it comes to dragon dreams it's hard to interpret but viserys visions was not wrong. The prophesied one did come from her line, so she should be the rightful heir. Azor Ahai is from her blood. And i assume Jahaerys did the same on passing on from rhaenys because of the foresight that it would not come from her line but Viserys'
