Ok so House Of The Dragon Season One had a big ending and Episode 10 set up a lot of things for the future. Season Two is rumoured to be two years away and if you can't wait that long then this is the video for you. Throughout it we're gonna be going through what happens in the book, what to expect for the future and also just our general theories on what the outline of the season will be.
Because of this there will be heavy spoilers so if you don't want anything ruined then I recommend you turn off now. If you enjoy the video the thumbs up is much appreciated and make sure you bend the knee and subscribe for more videos like this.
With that out the way, thanks for clicking this, now let's get into our House Of The Dragon Season 2 predictions.

Ok so Season one actually set up a number of things in it's final few scenes. We had Daemon going to Vermithor, Rhaenys flying off and Jacerys also going off on his own mission. These all have major rammifications for what's coming down the line and I think that the season will open with us following Jace as he tries to rally support for his mother.
He ends up visiting two locations in The Erry and also Winterfell. Now at the first of these he meets Lady Jayne who similar to Rhaenyra, is a woman that people don't really think should be in a leadership position. There's lots of accounts over their interaction with one even saying that the Lady would swear an oath if Jace could bring her to climax with his tongue.
The books words not mine. Having never married there was a lot of rumours about her sexuality and I think she's sort of meant to mirror Queen Elizabeth The First from our own history.
She sees a lot of similarities in Rhaenyra and basically wants sisters to stick together so she agrees to swear an oath to her.

No, team black all day.. And I'll tell you why.. Aegon hid behind his moms skirt the whole war and when he finally did go to battle, he got fuct, fused to his own armor and got his dragon mortally wounded.. Rhaynera went to the aid of one of her bannerman when he was in trouble, surrounded by the Green's army, against the advice of all her council, she went and burned the enemy army surrounding the castle.. She was willing to fight for her lords, so they would fight for her.. Aegon didn't see it that way and expected everyone to just serve him because of birthright..

I think that Jacaerys dying and Rhaenyra taking the throne could be easily the final episode of Season 2. There's no reason for them not to take the scenes in parallel. It'll be so poetic how Rhaenyra wins her fight but has lost another along with her first-born son.

The conflict is building up for the dragons to be extremely devastating and hard to control. A likely metaphor for humans playing with powers they don’t really understand in the real world and what happens when they are used for war and personal gain-absolute self-destruction. And if you know how the Dance ends, you will understand by now that nobody really wins a fight like this.

Rhaenys definitely middle of season. Jace I think will be in the finally. Does that happen before or after the "gay abandon?" Because I could see them ending on Aegons only flight. I think they will start each season off big going forward so season 2 starts with B&C while season 3 is the fall of KL but that's just my prediction

Or even the closing shot being Rhaenyra getting word of Jace’s death while sitting the Iron Throne and reacts, then notices she was cut by the throne… (or the camera notices a cut on the hand similar to Viserys). Leave everyone wondering until the next season if Rhaenyra will contract the “leprosy” like condition that Viserys developed… 😱

I think what will seal the friendship bw Jace and Creagen Stark is that both have lost a brother (when Jace receives news) and that's when house stark will pledge to the blacks and i think they can build this further into why Cregan goes on to play such a big role later on .

Bram, the Broken? I still cannot believe a cripple child is the new king. House Stark will always be the underdog, for one simple reason. And John Snow showed us that very well. They are too noble for their own good. The only member of that clan to show any backbone was Arya. Ned Stark was the first casualty because he failed to see his enemies right in front of him. And, strike them down while he could. The Targaryens ruled for centuries because they had the ruthlessness to do what needed to be done. And, they also had dragons. Let us not forget, big dragons.

Red Wedding. which makes house Stark takes a FAT ASS L in all of westeros history. Aegon the Conqueror and other Targaryens bloodline (with Dragons) would've ended the Starks if they wanted to even other Houses of Westeros if it wasnt for the Prophecy Aegon dreamed about. The Starks lost all support during Boltons conquest and their only 3 hopes were Stannis (failed), Jon Snow uniting the Wildlings (barely wins TBOTB) and Little Finger on House Arryn side. which they Support Sansa. House Stark clutch it while all Stark children were on their seperate ways and developing for 6 or 7 seasons long. so yes, House Stark are the underdogs of the show.

My guess is that they'll introduce Cregan Stark in ep 1, blood and cheese will be ep 2, Rook's Rest will be late in the season and episode 10 will be Rhaenyra taking King's Landing (and Otto's execution).

Man, it sounds like the whole Jace side arc in winterfell was the most enjoyable thing in the book, it sounds so amazing, so much bonding, fun character interactions, development, I hope they do it justice in the show & faithfully adapt what happens with Jace in Winterfell... while Luke had the most sad tragic ending it seems like Jace gets the most amazing adventure & time, but it will be tragic when it returns & finds out what happened to his little brother while he was having such a great time in Winterfell.

*Aemond* *Is* *Still* *A* *Kid* We tend to forget Aemond is only about 15 or 16. I've seen the memes with Martin Lawrence and that Aemond looks like he's mf-ing 30 but we forget he's still just a kid. So the look in Aemond's face after Vhagar chomped on Arrax was like, OH S--T, I JUST F--KED UP. He feels the responsibility of killing someone for the FIRST TIME. Luke is like breaking his cherry at killing. Aemond has ZERO experience participating in a war, let alone, killing multiple MEN like Daemon and Corlys have. He may look like a BADASS and I personally think he should take off his eye patch to show us his sapphire eye. But at the end of the day, he is just a kid. The change making it into he didn't intend to kill Lucerys starts to make more sense. The writers are reminding us he's not a cold-blooded killer but a kid who does stupid kid stuff that triggers Rhaenyra to go to war.

I would guess (hope) that S02E01 opens at Winterfell. Out of Lady Arryn and Cregan Stark, Cregan’s the more important character to establish before he becomes a big part of the show. Showing him bonding with Jace, and then strengthening that bond when Jace learns about Luke, would be a good way to start things off - as well as establishing Cregan’s personality: he’ll commit to the Blacks, but not before the autumn harvest is gathered. Winter is coming, after all. It would establish Cregan as stern and unyielding, prioritising the needs of the many over the desires of the few. B&C would occur either E02 or E03. Rhaenyra would take King’s Landing in the finale, but the episode would end on a very sour note for her.

Jace will maybe get a chance to avenge his brother and at the end claim the house Strong from Larys. Daemon Rhaenyra and the Hightowers will be fighting long time. Each season one child will die from each side. Valeryons, Lannisters on each side. Baratheons and Riverlands could be the new focus of the story. Interesting will be to see the new dragons, cannibal and so on. and those battles.

I feel like a lot of season 2 will actually be interchanged with big events/battles but also flash backs to certain events from season one that might have been brushed over (e.g. the relationship between Rhaenyra and Ser Harwin Strong.) Instead of rushing the plot line along they will more likely provide more backstory for certain characters with the aim of having the audience more emotionally invested in their fates.

Season 2 will almost certainly end with Rhaenyra taking the Iron Throne. With a 4 Season run, I wonder where they’ll end it though. There is arguably a lot of story left to tell well after Rhaenyra’s death. You could do a whole season just off the aftermath of Aegon killing her. Season 3 could literally end with her death, and Season 4 could be about Cregan Stark avenging everyone up until Aegon dies and Rhaenyra’s son is crowned

Season 3 will end with daemon vs Aemond and the riot of kingslanding. Rhaenyra will die in Season 4. They can't do a whole season without Daemon AND Rhaenyra. The audience won't invest the story no more.

@@romainchambard4399 If I were in the writer’s room of this show, I would be thinking “the end of the story is the ‘normal’ place to put such a huge character death” if you kill Rhaenyra either at the end of S3 or at the start of S4, that’s raising the stakes rather than shutting down the action. There is a lot of story to cover after she dies. The audience can cheer for Cregan to take down Aegon, and watch as Rhaenyra’s son claims the throne of a broken kingdom, which is would be a fittingly tragic conclusion to this story. Maybe early S4 might be the better place to put it. Have Season 3 end with Rhaenyra’s forced to flee KL, then S4 opens with her falling into Aegon’s trap at Dragonstone

@@TheJadedJames what remain of the story after the death of Rhaenyra is not that much to fill many épisode since the second battle of tumbleton happens before. After the death of Rhaenyra, we only have the end of the moon of the 3 King's, the battle of the King's road, last days and death of Aegon and the hour of the Wolf / Aegon 3 crowned. It's only 50 pages. Rhaenyra will die mid season 4 at the soonest.

I was hoping to see Blood and Cheese at the end of season 1 as the big moment, before I knew the last 2 episodes were split, but I understand why they held it. I’m assuming they’ll frame 2-1 like GoT did with Arya killing the freys, except this time there will be a lot less cheers for it. I think they may kill Jace in 2-9 so the finale is the taking of Kings Landing.

I understand why you feel you have to read books before a movie or a tv show of it. I feel It depends on the book. For some the movies or tv shows, it much better but therebare ones that i agree fully that the book is 10 times better. It shouldn't be a critera though if a person wants to read the book before the movie/ tv show. Thats fair enough but in the case of this show i feel from the information ive gatbering following these videos and watching others on the information included in the book it not necessary since the show pretty much doing it with some changes. I dont doubt the book is great i just personally feel even if you dont know the background and all you know in GOT there the targyom family who like dragons is enough plus not reading book doesnt give me insight or suggestion whats to come so i can experience it first hane

I predict a main focus of the 2nd season will be the dragonseeds ( AKA: finding riders for unclaimed dragons in order to be able to utilize them in the war). I think this is why we got that scene of Daemon visiting Vermithor. It will enable the showrunners to bring in some rather important and interesting characters.

S2E1: Blood and Cheese S2E10: Battle at Rook's Rest S3E9: Battle Above The Gods Eye S3E10: Rhaenyra's death by Sunfyre Season 4 may not have any of the major characters from S1 except Aegon II. I know for sure Rhaenyra, Daemon, and Alicent will not be involved in the series finale. So much happens after Rhaenyra's death. It's going to be interesting how viewers will feel about this once the major players are gone. Pretty much everyone dies except Daemon's own children and Nettles. Jace and Mysaria will die. Criston will die. Otto will die. Alicent will be imprisoned and die there. Aemond and Daeron will get killed. Helaena will commit suicide because she'll go mad after Blood and Cheese. Corlys will switch sides next to "The Two Betrayers" after Rhaenys dies at Rook's Rest. Roddy the Ruin will die but he goes out like a BADASS the way Daemon does. Roddy will be a huge fan favorite next to Daemon among viewers who are on Team Black. Killing a couple of Hightowers before he exits the world is BADASS to me. That's a true warrior's exit. I think if a great character is going to die, let them die epically. Don't give them a stupid death like what happened to Jaime and Cersei. House of the Dragon is going get really heartbreaking when Daemon and Rhaenyra exit the series. They're two of the most popular characters in the Dance. Can throw in Aemond in the top 3. All three are gone by the end of Season 3. They can delay it to happen by the first half of Season 4 but none of them will appear in the series finale. I have never read the books, but I have been following channels that have. All have consistently said the books are written from a third person point of view, of people who weren't very reliable or bias. So I believe the writers are doing it from a first person point of view; if you get what mean by that.

I can definitely see season 2 ending with Rhea sitting on the Iron Throne . This would be a great way to to pay respect to the sacrifice that she and her supporters had to endure throughout this and the previous season . She will will be crowned and given Aegons sword in which will be peak Team Black . When she goes to sit she will wince and look down at her left hand and find blood from a cut that the Iron Throne just inflicted ..... Fade to Black ( No pun ) and Twitter goes ballistic .
