Unlike Biannca, Huntsman spiders are harmless to humans, and very useful to have around. When I first encountered one, I was quite freaked out. However, I came to respect them, as they are tidy (no icky webs with carcasses) and will prey on all kinds of pests, including more problematic spiders. They stay out of the way, and aren't aggressive when you do see them. 10/10 recommend. Marionette spiders, on the other hand, are a whole ordeal. Really noisy, for a start, and forever getting tangled up, which only makes them irritated and more dangerous. Nothing is ever their fault, and they will lash out at the first sign of trouble, such as when their elaborate plans are foiled.

Agree. Huntsman spiders look big and scary but are honestly the epitome of the cliche 'more scared of you than you are of them'. Plus they help keep the redback population down and redbacks are a horrible spider - always hiding in wood piles or just around wooden seats and tables. I worked with a guy who got bitten on the back of the leg by one and ended up with a huge hole where the flesh had necrotized. Redbacks = 0/10 would not recommend. Huntsmans = 9/10 recommend. I had to take a point off based on their habit to pop out and scare you at the most inopportune times, such as in the toilet.

i had an ex just like this for a few months. she hid it from me as long as she could, but her true self came out and it was terrifying. basically she couldn't feel secure, calm, or at peace, in the relationship, unless she felt completely in control of it. she needed to feel like she was the master and you were the slave. you had to do exactly what she wanted and be grateful for the privledge of serving her. anything less cause her to fly into a rage of hate, blame, gaslighting, etc.
