When people are unhappy, they tend to overcompensate by seeking validation online, which is a reflection of human psychology. In the past, before the internet, people used to brag, throw parties, and create hype in social circles for the same reason. A content mind doesn't require validation from others.

I agree that 20 year age gaps is not advisable, but I don't think lays the lack of commonality being the issue. Afterall, many international adults of the same age can have wonderful romantic relationships despite coming from completely different countries and opposing cultures. The problem I think of these large age gaps is the maturity (or rather lack thereof). And then there's the difference in bodies. Hormones, varying sex drives, and niggling age related problems get in the way.

I don’t think so as many things shape who you are not just your age. Your experiences and so many other things too. There are many who are the same age but have nothing in common while others who have an age gap get along well. It just depends.

I've known Lexi since we were 6 years old, me and my brother and her sister tobi and her cousins the blicks and the vanhoutens and our other family friends the ordiways. We all went to church in Russell Pa called praise Fellowship since youngsville and kiantone are close about the same distance for us all to attend church about 30 min drive. This was so traumatic for all of us and we miss her dearly. We all thought Tom was responsible long before everything came out and mind you it took over a few years to get it resolved but we knew in our hearts🥺 Nothing he told Stacy or Mike made any sense and then would tell her gfs in houston something else. Mind you, None of us met Tom before they moved to Houston and this was a huge red flag. But we trusted lex to be a good judge of people but what we heard about him and then when she informed us all of the age gap, it made us very wary and uncomfortable and we didn't trust him.All his mannerisms just rubbed us the wrong way. We all grew up together and he wouldn't let her visit us and showed no interest in knowing us and was so jealous and controlling mind you all us boys treated her like a sister and vice versa. She didn't deserve anything that happened to her and the fact he left her naked on the side of the road is heartbreaking because yes she was a influencer or whatever that means but she was always shy and modest about her body especially since we all grew up in a very tight knit christian community and families. I miss her so much😢 She really was our angel

@@tamaraspencer4024I agree! I was done worse and controlled by the “build with me” men that I could ever imagine by my husband. Took me a long time to up my standards and learn that the “ride or die” and “build together” men are no better than successful men. I was warned about my husband, how he’d “control me” because he had more money than me in the beginning. (By women in my family who were married to deadbeat men for “love”) He knew it was a worry of mine so he took action to make sure I never felt that way. But the my ex that had me paying 50/50 and was supposedly “equal” was a horrible person. There are evil men everywhere regardless of income or physical appearance. At this point the best thing for young women to avoid running into a man that will control and abuse them is to stay single! 4B movement seems to be a good thing because there isn’t much women can do to avoid this.

I often wonder if the people who expose themselves, their relationships and home life so frequently online, and often portray their life as amazing, carefree and are trying almost to make their family, friends and followers envious or at least sit up and take notice. It makes me feel as if actually they're trying to convince themselves their life isn't as bad or as awful as it probably is, and the validation from people posting back how great them and their life looks from the outside, means it can't be as miserable as they feel it is. Are they ashamed to even confide in someone they trust? It could at least help ease the burden. You can only try "keeping up with the Jones" for so long before something breaks. I just wanted to say how much I love your channel and how much effort and time you obviously put into your content, it shines through how much you care about the victims and their loved ones. Keep up your amazing commitment to the channel. A huge thank you for all your hard work. Sending love from England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿.

@@cdes1776this has far more to do than the age factor. People who bring up age have a hangup or mental block they can’t get over. Age is just a number. I’ve met many that are either immature or mature for their age. I’ve met 18 year olds that were more mature than some 35 year olds. It’s about the person and who they are not their age. The same thing applies to race. It’s not the color of the skin it’s about who you are as a person. There are A Holes in every single race and there are beautiful people in every race too.

@@professorhoratiohufnagel1341 Preaching to the choir. My late dad *only* 'dated' teenagers including my birth mother. He always said age was just a number and I agree. I've dated older and younger men and it wasn't age that defined them. It works both ways. I can say with authority my dad's behaviour resulted in a very complicated messy family history though. It's extremely awkward when you're legal stepmother is your own age and more like a sister. p.s. I think your comment was for the OP, not me.... I admire your views and conviction.

I've been to Texas. Was not impressed. Huge bugs cover the walls at night when the lights come on. The cities were like anyone elses cities; congested & dangerous. It's astounding, the arrogance of Texans. They think their poo doesn't stink. Texan: "Where are you from?" Me: "Michigan." Texan: "I'm sorry." Me: "I'm not. It's a beautiful state with lots to offer." It threw me off, orherwise I would've said a whole lot more! I've been to several different places in TX. I don't have the desire to ever return, except I miss a young lady from a small town in middle TX. She was sweet.

If is truth that there's not such a thing called a normal person, but on the other hand, is very obvious to see the abnormal behavior on somebody if you just take your time and pay attention carefully to the things they do and say.
