The question I have would be: How can you do that when there's long-standing mental health issues in the relationship, and physical disability, affecting both spouses?

My husband waited 12 years to tell me that he had had two affairs with two of his coworkers which had transpired to the surface and he denied it at the time kept it for 12 years and decided to tell me for one benefit it’s not benefiting me I’ve hurt and angry betrayed depressed so he can be released from the guilt. He was carrying a greater burden and has been placed on me that I have to learn to forgive not just my husband, but these women that I work with, and our children were together as well so there is both sides today, keeping things to yourself and disclosing those things

@@novelist99 I do have to forgive them all. Otherwise God won’t forgive me . That is scriptural and biblical. The pressure to just be a Christian and they have thrown that in my face “you say you’re Christian.”.

What if you have resentment about something awful your spouse did ages ago? My spouse beat me up a couple of weeks after I had my third child. He got me on the floor and tried to strangle me. I got loose and he chased me down the hall, pushing and punching me. I had several broken ribs and black eyes. He never beat me again, but through our 42 year marriage, he has done many other rotten things. I have PTSD from my life with him. Right now, our marriage is on its final breath. We're living in a house divided, and I'm so unhappy.

What do you do when your spouse filed for divorce and one day voices he's not interested in being friends and then another day says ask me about my car, my job, my day. When I ask he usually responds annoyed I asked?
