Well, the downside to that is how sodding hard it is for someone with no prior experience to operate one. And let's face it now - sail-boat maneuvering isn't exactly a very central part of the average person's life. If a regular person would jump into a random sailboat and set off, chances are they would be completely inept at it for the first 30 minutes or so. If you'd avoid stranding yourself and/or being boarded for that basic learning period, though, then it'd probably be very nice. Apart from potential boat-bandits that'd easily overtake you, that is.

here's another few tips that could really help survive a zombie apocalypse: 1 - gather enough money to open up new areas 2 - always keep an eye out for where the mystery boxes are 3 - if you manage to find an old looking time machine, try to get it to work 4 - in addition to food and water, stock up on juggernogs, and quick revives (you'll have to deal with the taste) 5 - if ur in a group, always revive your friends if they are downed 6 - use every gumball machine you see

@@Jean_Jacques148 "Easy to take out" is relative. Trained soldiers with full magazines aren't going to have an issue. The fat slob on the mobility scooter with limited vision and hearing is going to fare a lot worse. So, hopefully a lot of the people doing the 'taking out' are more like the former than the latter, or you could be in real deep shit. However, most of the threat of the zombie horde would be gone in a few months to a year thanks to decomposition. Their bodies would decay to the point that they lose mobility and stop being anything more than a biting land mine. This will take longer in colder climates but it will happen faster in hotter ones. The best case scenario for zombies to decay gives them two years from turn to non-threat. And that's only for the ones in the proper climate, with the best ratio of muscle-to-fat, the strongest bones, etc.

The main reason we will survive a Zombie Apocalypse is because we are already aware of what a "zombie" is (give or take a few mechanics based on the show or game you played). A lot of these shows start with the premise of people not knowing what a zombie even is.

The idea that people would want your stuff is a stupid idea at the least. Sure, there may be some looting in the beginning, but during time of crisis, humans come together. It's why the human race has existed for so long. Of course, a crisis against other humans won't be so magical, but a crisis against a common enemy, in this case zombies, people would end up coming together in groups and rationing resources among themselves. The only thing I could see people end up fighting over would be food, but if a lot of people end up dying from bites/getting killed because they're zombies, that's a whole lot of food for a whole lot less people, which means a whole lot more time to make more food.

Cameron well stuff is a pretty broad word, and by stuff i ment food, medicine, gas, etc. if a zombie outbreak were to happen a majority in city/suburbs would get infected while everone eles would flock to the country. Since everyone went to the country they would start having encounters with other people, and those people who need stuff will take that stuff as necessary. Since as said in the video the smarter would not go and get supplies, but instead immediately evacuate would also have less stuff and more desperate for more of said "stuff"

+Aaron Valeros my argument is that so many people would die within the first week or so that all the 'stuff' people would be fighting for would be so plentiful, relative to the remaining population. It's kind of like how if there's a costco that serves 10,000 people daily, and they have enough food and supplies in stock to provide for 10,000 people daily for at least a week, if 50-75% of people end up dying in the outbreak area, that means the food and supplies would last 2-3 weeks instead of 1 week. Rationing products too would double the lifespan of the supplies as well. Why would people fight over something that isn't running low? Plus people have morals.

The only problem with your boat idea is that gasoline has an extremely limited shelf life. Even under ideal storage conditions (which is probably going to be hard to come by), gasoline can only last for three months before it is no longer dependable, if not useless. So if you're going to pile into a boat, you better have a plan in mind cause the boat is only a short term fix. Granted, if you manage to link up with one of those oil drilling platforms that is for some reason still operating, AND manage to find a refinery, you'll be fine. But that probably is not going to happen.

Islands and boats actually have a good chance to encounter zombies. Bodies float and zombies are just dead people/creatures, so some of them could float to your water base (these zombies are usually nicknamed floaters). The oil rig would be the best bet since it takes an elevator or a ladder to get on. Oil rigs are also self abstaining, having a ton of food already on it, a water purifying system, plenty of shelter, gets power from the oil or from solar panels, and you are able to set up a farm. Plus, oil rigs tend to have a radio in the control room. If there is anything I missed, please tell me.

Well. I think in any case we'd be good. The vast majority of zombies would likely dehydrate fairly quickly. There's also starvation and the likelyhood that zombies would get attacked by wild animals such as bears, boars, feral dogs, cougars, wolves, coyotes, etc. They'd also likely be susceptible to temperature like we are. So most zombies would be killed off by freezing temperatures in the North. We're only fucked if the zombies somehow retain their ability to think.

how to survive? communicate! if there happens to be enough survivors to keep humanity alive, you need to get them all on board to work together. Nothing is more important than trust and community when society falls apart. Zombies are for sure one initial danger, but the new environment they create on a social level is what makes them(and other catastrophe) so dangerous. The points about medicine and water/food are right, yet, they only focus on the body. Mental health is just as important, too. Losing close loved ones or dramatic events can cause PTSD and other issues. But especially in a dangerous environment its most important to act and work without a doubt. a boat would help. for a while. for a relative few of those relatively few who can get on one without the infection boarding with them. this excludes nearly everyone who cant make it to the coast before an outbreak reaches them, which, depending the particular zombie lore, can be a lot of people (we're-all-infected scenarios are an automatic out) and everyone who does make it to the coast but doesnt have access to a safe/personal boat and then those who do make it to sea on a vessel that isnt zombie-covered arent going to live particularly sustainable lifestyles theyre unable to drink the water, and not all will have thought ahead and prepared themselves to purify saltwater and catch+prepare fish for possibly years depending again on your zombie lore, fishermen might have to worry about catching the infection from whatever they drag up storms and wintertime will be rough, killing off everyone who tries rafting overpopulated ships will always suffer mass starvation and depending on the nature of your infection then that could mean everyone onboard is done as soon as people start dying do note that you cant scavenge for or create ammunition or particularly useful weaponry at sea, youve got what you brought with you, and youd better take really good care of it, because the salty air will corrode it, and youre not getting it fixed if it breaks if the goal is to make it to another, presumably safe landmass, you might have a chance, just hope that you can actually make that journey, and that the landmass is indeed safe, which it wouldnt be if we were actually talking about an _apocalypse_ added to all of this is the fact that if the folks on land find a solution to their problems youre probably not going to hear about it, and if the infection makes its way to you, you might just kickstart a second apocalypse when you get back

Mozart wuz blacck the north of norway is pretty remote, zombies wont come from sweden or denmark since the mountains of norway would make it umpossible for any zombie to cross them, norway has a wast amount of fish on the coast and plenty of oil rigs, you could easily survive in the centre of the country. 1: you are protected by giant mountains. 2: the sea is not far away, what means you get easily water (after you sterelized it) 3: the sea has many fishes. 4: if needed you can always escape to one of the many many oil rigs.

Someone could come up with a virus like in resident evil so yeah i dont think it would be that easy but 99% people know aim for the head so it wouldnt take long to sustain and eradicate

DiamondD3vil They aren't rotting it's parasites taking over the brain. The zombie will die in a few days due to the body being consumed. Also, it's muscles will be weak as hell.

If you have a car and its running out of fuel, here is a tip. Go to somewhere with lots of cars and try to take fuel from them since most gas stations will be empty.
