The process of grass seed being grown, harvested, cleaned and packaged has a lot more to it than you might expect. In the final video of my "Where Does Grass Seed Come From" series we take an in depth look at a cleaning facility, talk with an experienced grower, and actually sit in the machines that are doing the work to bring you high quality grass seed.
Special thanks to Chase from Turf Merchants and Golden Valley Farms for allowing me to tour their facility and learn more.

Dude. You were literally 10 miles from my house. I recognize every outdoor shot in this video. I love the Willamette Valley, but that's because I don't get springtime grass allergies. You literally get a haze from all the pollen that hangs in the valley around that time.

Excellent job to both you and your wife with sharing an interesting part of lawn care from its core. From beginning to the end user, the work that goes into the seed process is amazing. Thanks for your dedication with helping others like myself feel more confident in making our yards look and feel a whole lot better!

This was so interesting! I didn't know hardly any part of the grow to harvest operation but also that Oregon is the seed producing capital for the world (I live 50 miles south from Silverton - the town you were in.) I am reseeding all of my lawn and have devoured your videos (you provide the best/most comprehensive info all homeowners can use to improve their lawn therefore adding value to their home - Ryan you're better than the Lawn Care Nut guy! Allyn is a character and can get someone doing bits & pieces. But if I need step-by-step info that's where you don't miss a -step- beat btw is your fertilizer sold in Walmart or do I order it from you? Ryan you know grass/lawn care and can predict what the homeowner will need to improve their lawn and you show us how to do it. I wish I could give you 5 stars or something so others (like me) would know you're one to land on for all things lawn care from bare ground to minor patch ups, you cover it all! Thanks Ryan : D
